I know many of you remember Sands from her lovely Christmas in October thread in women's pics....... as well as from the other forums!

Sands has sufferred a health problem which has left her sightless. This was fairly sudden and unexpected and the adjustment must be unbelievably difficult.

With help from alwaysready22 she will make it through this and become a stronger woman! He is reading PMs, emails, and other things to her from online. So if you have any personal messages for Sands please send them to alwaysready22 for her.

One thing I think would be nice, is if any members like to use the voice options on the messengers they could send that info and then Sands could chat with you!

i remember her very well, a lovely person, and it is true bad things happen to good people. but i believe she will overcome this and be a stronger person, my prayers and thoughts go out to her!!

I'm so sorry to learn of your tragedy sweety! I sure remember your beautiful threads and your wonderful personality! I don't know the circumstance through which you lost your sight but I do so hope that with all the prayers and positive energy being sent your way from fellow Pixies that, collectively, we can find you on the road to a healthy and happy New Year!

I have a friend who lost his eyesight a couple years ago. Thankfully he was able to have it restored, but not for about a year or so after he lost it. Do not give up hope Sands. I cannot imagine the difficulties you will be facing, but with hope comes courage, and with courage comes the ability to overcome any setback. Be strong Sands, I am praying for you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know from personal experience that things -yes, even bad things- happen for a reason. As time goes by I'm learning that as bad as things were for me, things could certainly have been worse. After all was said and done I emerged from my "Baptism of Fire" a much stronger person. I can not help but think the same will (eventually) happen to you...
