Here's one I really liked:

This is one of my favorites.

Comshaw

"...On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question, ‘Is it politic?' and Vanity asks the question, ‘Is it popular?' but Conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?'

And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must do it because Conscience tells him it is right...There comes a time when silence is betrayal..."

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

I’ve seen a lot of my favorites in the signature block of our Pixies:D... and I use a lot of them. I only have two that I really LIVE with and they aren’t even cute.:(

“Measured objectively, what a man can wrest from Truth by passionate striving is utterly infinitesimal. But the striving frees us from the bonds of the self and makes us comrades of those who are the best and the greatest.” -AE-

I love that quote, too. Will Rogers was the man who said that.

Some more gems from him:

-There's two theories to arguin' with a woman. Neither one works.

-If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin'.

-Never miss a good chance to shut up.

-There are three kinds of men. The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves.

I also liked a quote from Gandhi ...
