I was stricken with a bout of insomnia-like symptoms the past couple of days which has seen me up until 8 a.m. one night, sleeping a few hours here and there . . . it's making me feel really lazy.

I didn't even leave the house yesterday - Tyler walked the dog for me . . . I'm going to have to leave the house soon to walk him. Has anyone else had extended stays inside the house (for reasons other than sickness)?

I like it in here! There's movies and Internet and food! :) :) : )

Yes! There were days and days this winter when I didn't leave the house! And to be honest, it wasn't the weather or sickness, or the baby! It was pure laziness! Every few months I get that way, I just don't feel like doing anything. A few years ago, I attributed it to depression, but now I am not depressed, if anything I am happier than I have been in years. I left the depression with my ex! hehehe. Sometimes it just feels good to be a couch potato!

LOL misplaced modifier - my bad!

I finally left the house to walk the dog yesterday and now I'm back to work this afternoon so I can't be housebound anymore.

I have a tendancy to nest at times.......I think perhaps I'm a closet agoraphobic........or is that an oxymoron......or a tautological inexactitude.....or and oxymoronic tautological inexactitude.......awww heck who gives a s**t?

Yeah - sometimes I don't want to leave the house! Lol

To be honest Steph that sounds delightful, but I cannot think of a time other than when I have been very ill that I have done the lazy thing. My SO says I have some type of disease that I have to be doing something always. Even when I am in chat or at pixies I tend to get up and run around between posts.

I tend to be more sedimentary during the winter, but i just cannot sit for long.

I think with me it was more my insomnia the past few days that kept me out of it. It was weird - staying inside made me feel totally disconnected . . .

My hand goes up, guilty as found out. Spent several days last month not even venturing as far as the letter box, and that's in the front door! Found myself reading through almost all the threads here at Pixies and just generally lounging around surfing the net. Just wore mm blue bathrobe, no point in getting dressed. I guess the furthest I ventured was up one flight to the toilet and down one flight to the kitchen ( a bloke needs his coffee!). Lazy?? No way, just idle :)
