Do you think before you post??? Or do you just type and then wait for reaction???

As for me, big shock to all of you I am sure, I just type and hit submit. In fact there are have been many times I have come in the next day and didnt even remember saying or posting certain things....

So are you a thinker or a quick poster??

Depends........ sometimes I will "dance" around a thread trying to formulate my response into an opinion that would be understandable... lol (OR) if it is a negative thread that ilicited a very negative angry feeling I need to cool down a little before I respond....

Sometimes I just wing it...

I tend to just write the first thing that comes into my head (I'm taking lessons from LixyChick!) apart from when I'm posting picture threads: then, my mind goes blank and I can't think of a single thing to say......takes me ages to post a thread and Fussy gets annoyed because I write and rewrite everything about 3 times before I hit submit. :p

LMAO@Loulabelle!

Lesson #2.....after you say it and hit submit....be at the ready to hit the edit button 4-5 times till time runs out....then post a disclaimer! LOL!

So, um.........well...that's all I have to say till I click send and think of something else!

Most often I think first... takes a few moments for my fingers to catch up to my thoughts...

but lately... nope... haven't been thinkin much before I post... guess maybe that would explain why I am posting a bit more again lately. :)

I tend to think a bit before posting... unless it's in the pic forums. ;) Then I usually don't have enough blood left for my brain... :p

on pretty much all boards I post on I tend to type in the first thing that comes to mind, but then I have to go back and read over it... once I am finally ready to hit "submit" enough time has gone by that it is no longer a spur of the moment response...

I write and edit for a living, can't I just post and not think about it?

No, no, I can't.

I don't think I've mentioned it before but I have to say, the lack of typos on Pixies makes me happy!

I usually think about it so much that I wind up not posting anything at all.

In the games--no. In other posts--always.

I'll bet that in general, the extroverts of the group type and submit first, think later (just as they usually speak first and think later), whereas the introverts think first and submit afterward (just as they usually think before they speak). (Of course, the problem for the introverts in conversation is that often by the time they formulate what they want to say, the topic of conversation has changed 5 times....) (I'm not putting extroverts down, mind you; I wish I could spout off comebacks in a flash rather than finally think of a good retort 4 hours later!)

Sometimes I read a thread and leave it for awhile to think about it and other times my response comes out without any need for thought. Well.... it comes without prior thought... needs it on occasion I'm sure.

I make an effort not to over edit my responses. When I think too much about how I want to say something, it seems to lose some of the meaning. For the most part, I post and then wait for the tongue lashing that is sure to follow. (Hey, a good tongue lashing is never a bad thing.)

Think? Me? Never!!! lol No, I usually read the question, then some of the replies till I am struck with divine inspiration!!! Pitty my divine inspiration doesn't involve a spell check...

If I don't have anything to add to a thread, I don't post.

I always think what I'm posting.

If I free-associated and posted, my sense of humour would

have me banned in minutes.
