Just a question about Pixies members vs. the general population. Cosmo (and I believe everything they tell me!) asserts that the average modern (US) female will have 6 partners in her lifetime. Men will have 8.

(OK, so who's having sex with all the men??? Can I get the job?)

Fess up...how many partners have you had? More or less than the average US person?

I'd be inclined to believe the appropriate phrasing would be "the average American Male ADMITS to having sex with 8 females. I've been divorced only 5 years and I've had a lifetime worth. Well no wonder I'm alone. I'm past my limit.

Only 4...though I couldn't even count the number I have had oral with. I was one of those girls who did EVERYTHING but have sex. I was brought up to think sex was wrong, but I had convinced myself everything else was fair game. Boy am I ever so glad I got past the "sex is bad" hang-up!!!

Could easily count them on one hand when I got married, but I made up for lost time once my ex and I separated 22 years later. Now I want just one more.
