I never thought he was very intellegent.

There are so many other ways that he could expend his energy. What a waste.

He drives me crazy. I don't know if it's his stunts or him personally but he's aggravating as hell.

I saw this as well. Maybe the idea here is that if he doesn't eat, he will get thinner and then disappear... :rolleyes: Just not a very exciting stunt. Difficult? Definitely. But how exciting is this? "Oh, look... he's still sitting there in his glass box, OH WAIT! He stood up!." :p

They have not said if the water is strictly H2O. Maybe it has glucose in it as well. What I wanna know is how he is gonna pee.

Is this the same guy who walked accross the country showing magic tricks to people on the street? I always thought that was pretty cool.I had no idea there was more to him then that.Even Houdini's intent was to try and escape from boxes and safes often time dropped into freezing water.This guy is jst going to stand their and drink water,piss and fart for 45 days? It is the same guy, lakritze....he had good hands, took what most magicians call table magic outside and did it as "street magic". He was good, but not the best. Still, the one that gets on TV is the one everyone knows. I lost interest in him the first time he did a trick which required a camera edit (levitation). Then it wasn't even table magic any more, it was a boring TV cheat. Although I didn't see all his specials, those I did see didn't contain an original trick. He wasn't an innovator.

And this box thing deserves to be laughed at. Men and women have done as much and more in internment camps throughout history. Doing it for entertainment and claiming it's "demonstrating human potential" insults them. I already know about human potential, I could've saved this jerk a month and a half by introducing him to my uncle.

He is not fasting for a Political or Social purpose. His intentions are not noble or honorable. Not eating as a form of entertainment probably does not go well in countries where people are starving daily.

It sounds like he wouldn't get any more respect if he had his jaws wired shut and wore Depends while on his vacation over the River Thames.heh heh I agree,all of this for entertainment and no thought for social justice is pretty stupid.Next time I want to watch some magic,I'll stick with David Copperfield.
