When we get out of the shower and slip on our robs, I know there’ll be a medium size glass of tomato juice (with a slight sprinkle of salt and pepper) and steaming coffee (just a touch of cream please), a half a grape fruit (salt lightly), two eggs sunny-side-up (basted just enough to close the eyes and salt and peppered while cooking). Three strips of bacon (fried just short of crispy) and a half serving of home fries, with white toast (toasted medium, never toast that is crumbly).... cloth napkin (never paper at breakfast) and a bud glass with a single white rose that will open later in the day.:D

OH! You mean this is the maids day off?:(……. or is she still crumpled in the bed clothes from last night?

In that case, I’ll take the plain doughnut and black coffee, (it can heat on the dash by the defroster).:(

Whatever they're selling at the Waffle House next to the motel.
Don't wanna get too far from that bed. We might need it at any second.

After reading PF's post, I'm
a) hungry
b) glad I don't have such an exact cook in my house!

I'll just take a bagel with veggie bacon over here, please!

Well, I like a glass of oj, a cup of coffee and either a bowl of some sugary-non-healthy cereal (cocoa puffs or lucky charms being the best) OR 2 pieces of whole wheat toast with margarine & strawberry jam.

Whereas, he likes a big breakfast like WildIrish mentioned, the corned beef hash, eggs, juice, coffee, bacon, and either toast, waffles or pancakes. And if I've baked and theres anything left that the kids & their bottomless pit eating friends haven't devoured, then he'll have some of that at the end, might be muffins, banana or date nut bread or danish or sticky buns or....

So just stock the pantry with a variety. :) :)

[shakes her head] Food, like hard alcohol, just doesn't look good to me before noon.

BUT...if you're talking late brunch...I strongly recommend blueberry buttermilk pancakes with just a little vanilla in the batter.

1/2 banana (unsure what to do with the other half..but a whole one is too filling), 1/2 cup coffee with a splash of cold water (I know....blekkk, right?....Hey! I gotta be me!) and a quick search through the fridge to see if there is anything left over from the night before...(pizza, mashed potatoes and gravy....whatever!).

Hmmm, I though that was what delivery was for... screw going out :D

(for a while we had a service that would deliver from almost any restaurant that was in the area... they just added a suitable mark up to the price, it was pretty neat!)
