so its the time of the year again. where you are bombarded with shadse of red and pink, hearts and cupids. since its already being marketed weeks away, i figure i might as well talk about it too. yes i'm talking about valentines. the wondorous day for couples, the dreaded day for singles.

my buds and i have a stupid tradition. we call it "black -day (whatever day valentines happens to land on)" we'd wear all black and roam around in a pack. even the ones with gf's participate, since we've all been dateless on valentines on numerous occasions. then go to a nice restaurant and get seated fast, since everyone wants a "table for two please" and the big tables are usually free.

so anyone else have things they do for valentines?

Honestly? Well, I'm not single ~~ but many years I am traveling on Valentine's day.

What do I do? Go down to the hotel bar, engage myself in conversation (which hopefully turns into a meal and conversation) with a man who is also traveling ~

Have some fun and laughs in our conversation~

Then head up to bed (alone) and call my SO.

...BORING, huh? :D

I will do the same thing I have done every V day since I was born. Do a whole lot of nothing, I have never been in a relationship during this time of year so it will be the same old thing.

Well in that case... I luuuuuurv Valentine's Day! We have a rule...no $$$$ flowers cause frankly most roses at this time do not last and cost 10 times as much. We also avoid going out to dinner since the restaurants are crowded and not terribly romantic. We usually go out on the day before:D

This year I am playing cupid and sent some Valentine's to some soldiers I know, and some I don't;)

I'm not single but I'll chip in :) We pretty much ignore Valenine's day, to be honest. Way too over-commercialized for my taste. We try to make every day as romantic and sexy as possible.

Besides, I hate pink ;)
