Today marks the 100th anniversary of the day "Ulysses" was set on.
Many say it's the greatest book in modern literature and I agree!
The day was important for James Joyce because it was the first day he went out with his wife-to-be Nora Barnacle. ("Vanity Fair" mag says it was the first time he got a hand job that wasn't from a prostitute :D).
To all the Irish Pixies and the lovers of Lit, HAPPY BLOOM DAY!
(Check out google's tribute to Joyce, too)
