In memoriam...

I was just in the pixies chatroom for the on-line memorial for Skip.

Someone commented that it was a shame that he wasn't around to see all teh people that dropped by for it.

Yeah, that's the problem with memorials, the person whose being honored just can't experience any of it.

So, time for this thread.

Pick a person. Doesn't have to be a Pixie's member. Memorialize them. Have others join in. If it is a Pixie's member, send the honored person a private message so s/he can pop in this thread and read it.

Feel free to eulogize the future late deceased.

Here's raising a glass to Belial. Differed with him on a big social issue, but always had a lot of sympathy for him. Shared abig physical problem, often talked about it in the chatroom with him. Hope some of the pointers I gave him about it were useful. Gods, I'm going to miss him.

Wicked Wanda was an amazing woman. She flirted and teased anyone, but her heart belonged to only one person. She will be greatly missed, but her time with us will be treasured and remembered always. Farewell Wanda.

my best friend, she was an 89 year old with a wonderfully wicked side and i loved her more than anyone really knew. my husbands grandmother, 'Gram'. my God i miss her. she passed away on my 31st birthday. one week from tonight i turn 32. i am not finding it easy to come to grip with this date this year. on the 17th she was laid to rest, i will be in vegas that night and will raise my glass to her, my special friend. on the 14th i believe i will shed a tear which for me does not come easy.


skip is a cutie, i'll bet she has already been giving him pointers in heaven. losing someone sucks but knowing they are in peace is a comfort, i think. :(

That Loulabelle was one amazing bird. First I knew of her was her incredibly hot pics :slurp: which were...helpful...in.err...achieving short term goals :) A while later and we collectively "Aaaawww"-ed as her romance with Fussypucker deepened. I smiled with relief as she kindly replied to my threads in which I asked for help on my self-esteem and while I still have bad days, there would be a good deal more if not for her and other kind Pixies. What's more, we tended to be on the same frequency band (if not the same wavelength :) ) on many issues.

I bet she'd have given great hugs :)

My dear friend Coaster....someone that always only has nice things to say to me, always making me feel wonderful about myself and life. He has taught me so many things that I must live by. He could write the most wonderful stories too and make you feel like you were right there. Right there when I needed him to hold my hand. Just an amazing person that will always be special to me. I only hope he realizes how special he is to me.

What I would give to hug him.

I mourn my dearest friend Prophet Reality. He was always there for me when I needed a friend and even when I needed more than just a friend. He encouraged my attempts at writing. He helped me discover facets of my personality I was previously unaware of. He encouraged me to feel better about myself in many ways. We had a disagreement or two along the way but we always managed to work through it. He had a wonderful appreciation for the female form, regardless of size. He was a very interesting, and very exciting man.
I will miss him terribly and wish that we had been able to meet in person before it was too late.

Geckogekko is someone I'll always remember for helping me through my breathing difficulties when I was worried sick about what it could be. His clever name and its promotion of a too-often overlooked reptile, his friendliness and intelligence shall be missed.
