Music seems to be a big influence in my life and from what i have been reading a lot of other Pixies seem to like their music too.

I am posting a pic of me from my senior year from high school. (Btw, i was 18 when this was taken) I have my Led Zeppelin bomber jacket on. It was and still is my "baby"

Do you have any pics of you in your favorite band T-shirt or other clothing?

I have a confederate blue tee with a rebel flag colored Les Paul on the back I love. To me it represents the good ole southern rock era. Allman Bros, Wet Willie, Elvin Bishop.. classic stuff from around the southern states. When I wear it however, because of its origins I'm more often taken as a biker. In fact last time I was in PA in a guitar store one of the salemen asked me if I'd ridden my Harley up from GA. I said... what makes you think I have a Harley man? He said, C'mon man you're wearing your colors. I just laughed... OK so I was a Harley guy too but I had a guitar in my hands. I guess my playing didn't impress him much. LOL

Love it liz! I don't have any pics of me in band shirts, but I do have one (somewhere) of me in a "Disco Sucks" shirt. I don't have it scanned though...and I'm not really sure what box of long lost trinkets it's in at the moment. The funniest part about that shirt is that I used to wear it to the disco and even had the balls to get out on the floor and dance with it on! LOL! I'd probably dance to anything...but I'm a rocker at heart!

Great story Bear! LOL!

I think the closest thing I have to a band shirt is a tee with the rolling stones logo on it, you know the tongue. No pics though.

(I do have an "awesome" pic of my ex from the 80's wearing a "The Cure" shirt though..Oh the blackmail possibilities!! LOL)

Oh, OK....since y'all are obviously serious. I only had 2 band shirts ever, and I still have one of them. The one I *don't* have still is Richard Marx.

The one I still have is a 1994 Pink Floyd Division Bell tour shirt, with allllllll of its writing in German (I saw the concert in Berlin)

LOL!!! Our youngest (11) asked Cobalt for his AC/DC CD for Hells Bells and Thunder Struk and Aerosmith CD with "Walk This Way". She was rocking out and this was one time we didn't care if her stereo was blasting!! :D

You mean this outfit that i named my serving wench outfit? I actually just bought the shirt at mall....sorry it wasn't an original......

Oh, and other T-shirts that i have, but no pics of, is my tie-dyed Grateful Dead, and an Ozzy concert Tee that i got back in 1996. I used to wear nothing but Led, Dead, Nirvana, and Metallica tees in high school.

And the funniest item of clothing that i have is my A Perfect Circle "rain condom" ...really just a yellow rain jacket that is about the same kind of plastic as a garbage bag. I asked the woman at the T-shirt stand if the plastic was thicker than a garbage bag. She got all sorts of huffy and said that the merchandise there was not garbage. i repeated my self as clearly and loudly as i could, and again she was huffy with me. I took my brother to the concert and he stood behind me and giggled. I elbowed him and told the woman that i would buy one. $10.00 for a yellow garbage bag with the A Perfect Circle emblem on it.........silly me!

Once had a Springsteen "The Boss Is Back" Tee, & also a tank top aquired at a Squeeze concert at Vandy, but they both bit the dust years ago...will have to dig thru the shoebox archives to see if any photograpic evidence exists of either...of course, said evidence may be "inadvertantly" destroyed when it sees the light of day...

One of the big problems I had with mine was how the printing ran off the sides a little...coupled with my obesity at the time, the only letters visible were "QUEE"...on the back was the title of their album, "Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti"...this led to hard glares from some homophobes I had to work with at the time...

And here I thought it was some kind of new fad where there was a "push me" spot like on some stuffed animals resulting in a short tune being played. Oh well ... :rolleyes2

Sorry guys for bringing up "old' stuff, but I'm trying to get myself re-aquainted to things... by looking at some of the old stuff.

osuche, what ever happend to "Dick Marks....err Richard Marx" ???

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous.
I had a chance to see Floyd on that Division Bell tour, but didn't want to go by myself. I was new to the area at the time, and my co-workers weren't into Floyd.

I've regretted that so many times I've lost count.

Well, Ive seen Floyd twice and HAD shirts from both concerts. (Division Bell and Pulse) However, my son stole em and wore em totally out.
