How to give a decent massage to a lady...

Ok i'll admit i'm a guy, I like getting my kinks out of my shoulder blade worked out and pressed and kneaded very hard...so I have a pretty high tolerance here for pain as I believe in the pressure poitns and things like that...

but when it comes to my g/f she can't really take the elbows or pressure points that I like, so I'm at a bit of a lost of how to give her a decent massage without her saying, "that's too hard, etc." Now she is gone for the next week so I can't really ask her this so where do you ladies like to get massaged the most and how?

All I know is, I want the massage to last a long time. I guess you'll have to adjust the pressure so it's not too hard, not too soft. Maybe reread Goldilocks? :D

You and your lady just have to come to an agreement on what she likes. The essential point to remember is that you have to communicate with each other. The purpose of the massage also often times dictates the amount and type of pressure to be applied.

The problem most guys have on us sensitive ladies is they are giving us massages because we are tense is when we are tense, and you add that elbow it just causes us to tense up more and the muscle tries to protect itself from what it thinks is abuse. So it clenches tighter and becomes even MORE sensitive. At which point you get the, "okay, thats enough" bit.

Best advice I can give: Start with some warming massage oil, start with the light pressure of just smoothing it across her skin like you were applying lotion, slowly (and by slowly I mean every minute or so not every 5 seconds) increase the pressure and tell her to let you know when it gets to be too much. Chances are, you'll be tired before the pressure increases too much for her to take.
