If one were better than the other - the other wouldn't exist. Funny thing about us humans, we all like things a little differently. I prefer a combination of the two items. I like the vibrations of a vibrator on my clit, while internally it does very little for me. First it really depends on if you have clitoral or vaginal orgasms. If it's clitoral and you want it for when you are alone then I say get a vibraor. I like a nice hard plastic one that can also be used as a dildo. The only time I like dildos used on me is if someone else is holding it. :)
