They are over Saudi Arabia now. I think they only did this now to see where the plug came out of the oil line. :banghead:

My astronomy site hasn't put the orbit up yet.

The first solar array that is 38 ft. x 107 ft. opened like a cheap venetian blind.

(They've been busy kids up there :D)

:fart:

A big load of dirty laundry and trash was set at the curb and pushed away.

If they forgot to pack it, it's staying there! Atlantis undocked and will be doing a fly-around before moving 70 miles away from the International Space Station to do some checks before heading home tomorrow.

In the last week, they've added 17.5 tons to ISS that will almost double the power generating capability. Not bad for a road call. :thumb:

I bet you thought I'd shut-the-fuck-up and go away towards the end of this ISS activity. Fat chance. :roflmao: …………. Well actually I will when it's over. Besides there being the small matter of getting Atlantis back home,:wish: there has been a LOT of activity going on at Baikonur (http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/station/main/index.html), from where the first of our specie to leave this planet departed.:teleport: In about a hour and a half, three people will be aimed at ISS and blasted into space on a Soyuz rocket where two of them will spend the next six months.

Do you think I'm impressed with a few different people doing something that is altruistic and none destructed or profit centered. You bet your :booty: I do.

Apparently they've just had to break out the hazmat stuff for a chemical leak...NASA spin docs are saying, "Oh well, shit happens, not a big deal..."
Listen, every little spill is a big deal when ya can't open the windows & let some fresh air in... ;)

Anybody got an extra $20 million laying around so I can take a ride on a Soyuz rocket to the space station?????

I guess I'm not that much of a space fanatic, I'd find a lot of other vacations to take for said $20 Mio.
