JHCOAB! That's all? That's my year so far? I SUCK!!!!!
I have to say that I haven't been lazy. Just really busy with family situations that have prevented me from doing anything for myself. Mr. Lixy was sick and hospitalized...and so was big sis.

Let's see, in the past 12 months I have...
played a (very) few gigs with a band of other old geezers
survived to see my 50th b-day
watched our baby boy start high school
finally found some gainful self-employment
faced down a judge in my disability appeal
finally got my SSD benefits (w/back pay!)
other than that, not much has happened
making it to 50 may have seemed like the easy part, just keep breathing...but family history combined with certain lifestyle choices say I've beaten some long odds...

"Big, big happenings up at the Falls this year" :D
When this thread first came up, I felt the same need others mentioned, to list more than one personal event that was outstanding from my normal life routine. (very hard to follow Fussy's year of life changing events, and at this point in my life, I SHOULDN'T have one like that) Yep, without a doubt, PAGAN was the highlight of my year.

You know, I'm surprised Steph hasn't jumped in to share with us about how she became, "THE GUARDIAN!" What could be more thrilling than that?
