Well my fellow Pixian's two weeks ago I finally went hunting with my uncle's on their farm. I got my first doe after years of wanting to I did. I have a few pics if any one is interested. I don't want to alarm anyone if pics of dead deer alarm or offend anyone let me know now and I won't post them. On the bright side I finally got my house decorated for xmas. Those I will post almost fell off the roof 3 times while trying to string light's. All part of the fun lol well here's pic number one of the house. It seems my pics are too big and i don't know how to make them fit can anybody help ?????

I've also teetered perilously on roofs...I guess expecting I could fly if I were to fall off.
But, Santa, next time maybe you should check this out before playing on a roof so you can continue posting to Pixies:

2 x 6's :yikes:
That set up looks like it would keep you on the roof alright, ………………….. For ever! lol The would make a good summer project, RT.:) You could start erecting that right after your 4th of July picnic. ;)
After seeing too many Christmases, and becoming a little less monkey-like, I decided to set up a system that would let me hang most of my lighting from the ground. After finding a screw-in hook about the size of the old screen door hook, and a one time ladder job that never caused me to actually get on the roof, I fastened a snap clothespin to the end of a length of 1/2" EMT conduit. It let me reach up 15+ feet and easily string most of my lights. Only a few peeks required using a SHORT ladder to compete. A wire fork on the other end of the 10' pole let's you take them down as easily.
I did find out, the second year, that a sketch and numbered strings, (stored WITH the lights) make it a lot faster and easier, after figuring out what strings are needed where. ;)

ironhide,
The colour looks pretty, but it's a bugger to read.
What gun were you using, a rifle or a shottie with solids?
