I'm guessing that most of the people on Pixie's won't know this name, but when I was growing, Captain 11 was the host of a local afternoon kid's show that I'd watch after school. The show ran from March 7, 1955 to December 27, 1996 (and talking with my mom, she even remembers watching him) on KELO TV out of Sioux Falls. (I even got lucky enough to meet Captain 11 at a local mall where he was having a meet and greet with all the local kids, and my mom has a picture of my brother getting his shoes tied by Captain 11, though this was many many years ago).
