As directed *LOL* For those interested
Got a fairly good sized scar, but seem to be healing up well. Now the arm itself, hmmmmmm. It is worse than before the op, its been 25 days since the operation, dunno iffin thats normal or not. The tendon had damaged parts removed and a spur was cut from the bone.
I have to be real careful lifting anything (well using it at all really), picking up a loaf of bread (around 700gms) can make pain shoot through the elbow and muscle, so yeah slowly does it! I cannot straighten the arm fully as yet, to attempt to do so is unbelievably painful and due to such, not something i try to do a lot. It aches like a bitch pretty much constantly at this stage.
I'm hoping it will improve *sigh* though there were no guarentees the op would be successful, but i'm going by its not been that long, so fingers crossed.
I started back at work today, i did some dusting, a little bit left handed, as long as i dont extend or hold the cloth too tight i can do it in a fashion *L*, or i just switch to doing it right handed. I'm only doing 3 days/week and only 2hours. Unsure how long this will continue, i spose depending how the arm copes. Even with just the tiny bit i did today, its aching, but to be expected, i do need to use it, to not use it at all would be a bad thing. Ya dont use it ya lose it.
I go back to the Specialist on the 14th April, so will ask him what is considered normal pain to expect. Until then i'll just blunder through as best i can.
