while i'm usually the kinda guy that selects specific songs from lotsa different musicians, i do occasionally try to obtain the entire catalog of bands/singers/groups/fuckever. so, what artists do you own complete collections of? you know, all their albums n shit. please note that listing a musician with only one record is cheating, and will result in yer immediate ass-raping. i mean, disqualification. yeah, that's the magic.
i own every album by...
311
Cake
Beastie Boys
Bloodhound Gang
Busta Rhymes
hed (PE)
Rage Against The Machine
System Of A Down
pretty sure that's all. i hardly ever listen to the latter three, but i DO own em.

My mistake, as I was thinking along the line of 40 and 50 years. My girls had chart toppers before the Beatles and is still doing it.;) Not sure exactly how long Davis blew that magic, but was over a half century when they pried his trumpet away.

I don't have the first album, but i love Toxicity
Reverend Silky

the first is more aggressive, but almost as melodic. for my money, it don't get any better than 'Sugar', 'Mind', 'Suite-Pee', or 'Spiders'. great, great fuckin tracks. i think they show more range than those found on Toxicity. not to take anything away from the new album, mind you. good times all around.
also, ANY (and i do mean any) SOAD fan who ever downloads music should check out the SOAD/RZA collaborative cover of 'Shame On A Nigga', by Wu-Tang Clan. amazing stuff. really shows the kinda range they have.
