The former Lost Boys are not doing so well. My then classroom behavior assistant who is now a cop left me a message that he was taking one of my babies to jail last night. He got released to my friend who fed him and took him home. I failed this one big time.

It is a two way street. If you have succeeded with others, and not with one, then perhaps this one failed to grasp the opportunity you provided.

He has an IQ in the 60s. He can't grasp much. I should have pushed harder for an alternative placement for him.

Thanks for trying to make me feel better but it's more like I've succeeded with one and that's it. Going into this I tried to tell myself that if I could do well by even one I was doing a good job but you know good is just not enough when you are dealing with kids.
