I confess, I'm awake but haven't looked outside ... hoping that because I didn't hear any freezing rain hit the roof ... that maybe it passed us by. :wish:

I confess that yesterday was sunny and gorgeous -- the perfect day for a bike ride.

I confess ... the weather isn't quite what was expected. Sleet, ice and maybe an inch of snow were expected beginning last night. This morning around 8AM it started. We've received a couple of inches of snow followed by sleet and freezing rain followed by another 2-4 inches of snow (and it's still coming down). I just hope they haven't missed the warm weather forecast for later this week as much as they did todays. :rolleyes2

I confess that I am both very proud and sad because as my son (who turns 18 in December) is being sworn into the National Guard tomorrow. I'm proud because he's decided (or at least mentioned it to me) late last year to join the military, and once he decided on the National Guard this month he didn't wait long to get everything in motion. I'm sad, though, because I'm definitely not ready for my "little" boy to be an adult.

I confess I just watched Gorky Park. :o A who-done-it in a Moscow winter seems appropriate about now. Great thing about a good Russian story is there are so many twist and turns and so many key characters, even though you've seen it before, following the story line is like a whole new movie. :nod:

I confess to being sick. Sore throat...stuffy nose...bit of a cough and some congestion in my chest. I hate being sick!
