Hey, I'm so excited about my work, that I've been doing that instaed of hanging out all day on Pixie's!

I'm suppose to be ready to head out in an hour, but I think I'll stay here instead.

My daughter will not have TWO friends spend the night tonight! :eek:

Last night I was really happy.

I love all the rain we're getting ... watching the farmers unable to get into their fields to harvest the corn or soybeans and then paying dearly to get them dried out.

With a high in the mid-70s yesterday, we lit a fire in the fireplace and snuggled down under five heavy blankets.

Today we went looking at houses and bought ourselves a mansion. :nod:

I thought we'd priced that mansion for an early sale. :D

I'm so grateful we're expecting an early heatwave. I'm looking forward to seeing how high my electricity bill can go.

To save a little money, we've decided to not use our furnace this winter, but, to keep a candle lit on our dining room table.

I do not have the windows open and the heat off today.

I wasn't thrilled to hear that a dear friend was out of ICU and into a private room at the hospital.

It is not still unseasonably warm.
