My Mum, whose words of advice all in one conversation (regarding my streaming cold) were:

'Oh poor you, make a bed on the sofa and do as little as possible.....you've got so much washing to do, work through your cold and sort the house out.....refuse to make FussyPucker supper until he's mown the front lawn....just get on with it, you're a mother you've got responsibilities, you can't expect your husband to help you even when you're ill.'

Nice lot of mixed messages there Mum, thanks for your advice.

At the Dept of Safety today, getting #2 son his learner's permit...as if the wait wasn't bad enough, some rich b***h holds up the line for an extra half hour, because she didn't feel she should have to pay because her daughter failed the knowlege test...

Y'know, it only takes one person like her to change a light bulb...she just holds the bulb & waits for the world to revolve around her... :banghead:

Was gonna give Boog his birthday spanking but I'm not feeling very well. Stupid monthly!!! So it will have to wait a few days.

Finding out a favorite State Park (Mackinaw River Fish and WIldlife Area) isn't getting maintained anymore. :mad:

State squanders tons of money on crap and lets more than 2,000 acres of beautiful parkland go down the tubes. :mad:

Maybe if our Governor and the legislators in Springfield put less in their pockets we could keep the state's natural treasures looking beautiful. :mad:

I kept thinking most of the spring that I must be missing the days when the ranger does maintenance but it's become apparent ... there's been no maintenance all this spring and summer. Talked to a local and they indicated the state has dropped the day long staffing of the park. Trails have become overgrown, parking areas becoming weed covered, and, the ranger staffing the park now only shows up once a week to make sure it's still there or something. :rolleyes: .

we got 9-10 inchs of rain last nite and I had 2 ft. of water in my shop :banghead: had to take off work to dry out all my tools!!

Just realized a few minutes ago that I hadn't changed my desk calendar from June to July when I got back home and I have now scheduled conflicting events for the weekend of the 21st. :mad:

First thing to piss me off was a reaction to one of my meds, felt like my upper body was on fire, then doused with itching powder...2nd was when I started to mow the yard, I hit a big-ass rock which bent the right-hand blade down, and didn't notice it was scalping the grass until my 2nd pass around...& the mf'er is too big for me lift up & get at the damaged blade to repair or replace, & the yard looks really fucked up now, & it's the

front yard

This continual (3 months?) skin issue I seem to be having that I'm convinced is stress induced. I probably should see a dr but now I simply don't have the time for that.

The same place sells two or more different sizes of coffee or pizza or milk shakes, but they only have "large" and "medium" and "super size". How fucking stupid are they to insult my intelligence and think that naming their smallest size, "medium", is going to cause me to think I got something more and will be happy about the confusing ordering with people that they make look like idiots. :banghead:

Yesterday the one driver who was a complete ass and today just a couple of drivers who seemed to be in to big of a hurry to wait 30 seconds.
