I've got more than 24 hours of work ahead of me before then. :(

It's really busy at work right now so I'll be there with little sleep but it'll probably make my excuse about any barrel accidents more plausible, right?

Hi PF

Yes I'm sorry we missed getting in touch this past weekend. The funny thing is my phone service was out until Monday afternoon anyway and not only that I wouldn't have been able to get up and answer it because I blew my knee out somehow. So after all the wonderful time spent in the ER I didn't move much about the house. (Boy Neil Young was right a man does maid :yikes: and now I need a nurse too) I didn't say anything because my hope was to still make the trip but after talking to my regular doctor yesterday I don't believe that is going to be the case. I won't know what course of action will be taken until she gets all the test results back next week. I really wanted to be there I was so looking forward to it after this week I could haved used a mini vacation. I have a research paper due tomommow and I still have to study for the final that will also be given tomorrow. Sometimes I still wonder why after all these years I decided to go to college. Well give my best to all those who are going to attend and I hope you all have a wonderful time.

Winston77 sorry to hear about your injury. Take care and let your knee heal. We will miss you not being able to make it, but I'm sure we will make it thru the weekend. Take care and get better.

Well...I waited all this while because I had hoped things would change, but it's official. Mr. Lixy and I won't be able to attend. It's a RL family thing and I just can't get away right now. I'm so bummed about this because I soooooooooo looked forward to meeting everyone! I can't believe the opportunity we will be losing out on. I can't tell you how sad I am about this...it lays heavy on my heart!

I wish everyone who is attending a fun filled and safe weekend! Keep in mind that we are with you in spirit and I'll be thinking of you all the while!
