How much luggage do you take for an overnight visit?

In the last couple of years, I've *really* learned how to pack well, so not much.

Only if I spill paint on it.

LMAO!

No, although someone I know just bought an RV (used) for 2/3 the value of my house.

almost never.

Rarely--most often just ponytails.

Probably around 30 correct words per minute. Used to be 60 when I was doing a lot of typing. :(

Usually if my wife and I go out, it's slacks and a sport shirt most of the time.

What shoe style is your favorite?

Summer you'll most often find me in sandals; winter I'm usually wearing short black boots.

How many covers are on your bed right now?

My wife uses one blanket ... me ... I kick it off.

How many windows does your bedroom have?

Two--one of which is right behind the headboard, the other on the side of the bed.

Do you prefer bright colors or more muted ones?

Usually earth tones ... guess that more muted. Unless, of course, someone wanted to give me a new Ferrari ... in which case RED! :D

Thick, preferably.

Do you balance your checkbook every month?

I haven't balanced my checkbook since Feb. 2004...but I am good at keeping a running total mentally and checking my online account info.

I do ... and vanilla is maybe my favorite scent.

Do you like animated movies (like Shrek)?

Love them...Shrek, Antz, Shark Tale...They're all adorable.

No pets anymore.......... just all the wild ones!!!!!!

What wildlife (besides your neighbor) do you see in your yard?

My children swore they saw a deer a few weeks ago. I don't know about that. But I *do* know that kleclere glued the bricks down that make the tree rings for the two big trees out front because, if he hadn't, I was going to SHOOT the squirrels that kept knocking them off.

And I've never shot at anything before. :D

The only dish i've made using syrup is Golden Syrup Dumplings

What are golden syrup dumplings?

Not sure about the dumplings part, but Golden Syrup is similar to what we know as Kayro Corn syrup only it's honey-like in color. I used to have a recipe using it for a cake. I had to buy it at a bakery that also sold imported British foodstuffs.

Golden Syrup....for those wanting to know what it is


Golden Syrup Dumplings Recipe

Dumplings
1 cup of Self Raising Flour
1 lump of butter (size of a walnut)

Rub in flour.
Beat up an egg, mix into flour to form a soft dough (add a little milk is necessary)
Roll into smallish balls

Sauce
1 heaped tablespoon of golden syrup
1 cup of boiling water
(squeeze of lemon juice if wanted)

Bring to the boil....When boiled, drop in dumplings
Boil until cooked

Hmmmm...I'm assuming you mean to watch, since I don't really *play.* :D

Usually slightly below, but it depends on my, um, internal body temperature.

Do you often get nosebleeds?

Very, very seldom. But, an interesting fact ... our family doctor told my wife and I that nosebleeds in the midwest are quite common. Not sure of the reason, but suspect it has to do with all the dust and chemicals from being in the middle of corn country. Especially common at planting and harvest times. :rolleyes2

Do you sleep with covers or just on top of the sheets when it's warm?

On top unless there's somebody underneath I want to be close to

Constantly. I have a sinus infection about 9 months of the year because I'm allergic to all trees, all grass, all weeds, and all outdoor molds. When is winter again? :D
