I'm going to say, electricity ... mainly because when it goes out, it seems like everything grinds to a halt. At least, I notice it's affect more than I think the loss of any other single piece of technology. :(

I don't think real superstitious ... at least not seriously. Probably tease around with things like black cats; the numbers seven and eleven; ... stuff like that. But I don't really believe the superstitions on those.

Louisville, Kentucky, in a hospital that did not long survive my birth. Ironically, my daughter was also born in a hospital that was torn down within a year of her birth.

I like to go to a beach just south of Myrtle Beach, SC. Great food, not too noisy, and not as crowded as Myrtle.
