They also had to live at my speed, want what I want from life, agree with me about how one deals with problems between us, how one raises children, and (important though prosaic) how one deals with money. I totally agree with GingerV on this one. :)
For a "fun time" playmate anything goes and sometimes it usually does. But for something really serious (long-term relationship) I tend to be a bit picky. I do love a lady that behaves at the dinner-table , but I also want a wildcat in bed too. All in all, I guess GingerV said it best.

In a playmate...(in order)...physical spark, intelligence, creativity, open to trying new things in bed, sex drive, honesty, integrity, and emotional maturity.

In a life partner...all of the above, but also including good provider, good with money, worships me, similar values and goals, sense of purpose in life, and able to go toe-to-toe with me both in and out of the bedroom.
