I don't know where you live Lilith, but since you said you could take a plane, how about Door County, Wisconsin?
Depending on the time of year, think: lighthouses, fall colors, snowmobiling, airplane rides, horseback rides, sailboat rides, train rides, scuba diving, skiing, winery, museums, and theatres. Have you ever made love in the snow? Everyone should try that at least once. Of course, then you'll need to warm up. Can you feel the warmth of the flames on your inner thighs as Mr. Lil treats you to divine oral pleasure in front of the fireplace? And no trip to Wisconsin would be complete with a trek to Green Bay to worship...er...experience the holy...er...legendary frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. Buy a Packers jersey. Eat at Brett Favre's Steakhouse (surprisingly romantic) right arond the corner from Lambeau. The comedy club in town is a riot. Eat at the Prime Quarter on Oneida St. where you grill your own steak in a cozy atmosphere. Visit Gipper's sports bar. They also have another bar in town that's 3 bars in one - all in the same building. One area is country, one might be jazz, and the other rock. Dance the night away there. There's also a great Casino in town. Or take a dinner cruise on the riverboat as you watch a Packer's game. I love Wisconsin! |
Lilith,
I enjoyed New Olreans when I visited. |
Vegas is another favorite of mine. We love staying at the Paris resort. Gamble, indulge yourself, relax with an in-room massage, go paragliding, take a helicopter ride over the strip at night, take a helicopter ride and picnic to the Grand Canyon. Rent a Ferrari, a Hummer, or a Porsche. Eat at the Eiffel Tower restaurant overlooking the strip and the Bellagio Fountains (You must do this at night. This is the most romantic restaurant I've ever been to). Sorry, no Sigfried and Roy! Vegas is a trip. There is so much to do there and you can almost always find great air fare/hotel deals.
If you decide on either of my suggestions, let me know and I can pass on contact information on the places I've mentioned and offer more specific suggestions. :) |

I have never seen real snow, I am from Florida. JSeal~ Is sounding like a possibility! MichaelSmith~ Vegas is on my top 10 to do list! |
Micheal Smith---Door County? It sounds as if you're describing NH!
My wife just got back from Amish country. She took a tour with one of her sisters&an older girlfriend. She loved it.It must depend on your preferance, because I definatly wouldn't enjoy it. I have been almost everyplace in the world. My best friend & his wife, moved to Hobe Sound Fla.Eveytime they visit(Her folks, still live here)They say how much they miss NE.I have known many people that have moved & they ALL say the same thing!I would therefore reccommend NE!I used to drink heavily(Recovering Alcoholic) & missed alot of good tourist time, sitting in bars.A "barroom tan" is the same no matter where the location.Unfortunately,I didn't realise that when I was younger! The 15th,will be 11yrs4mo,sober!Better late, then never! Irish |
OMG Lil! Michael Smith should be a tour guide!
Try Vegas first.......then go freeze your ever lovin butts off in Wisconsin in December! Brrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! I once went on a blasting convention trip with hubby...to Fla. as it was the year it snowed 30" here (in Pa.)...and I was sick to death of snow up my crack!......Um...so anyway.........that particular year it was the coldest cold snap in Fla. history to date and I got a wake up call that said...."Good Morning...this is your 6:30 wake up call. It is 29 degrees and sunny. Have a nice day". And I yelled....."Where the fuck am I"????????????? That was hubbies wake up call! LOL! Oh....so my point? When we got to the hotel the previous evening.....it was still about 70 degrees and we sat and drank in the hot tub all evening......till the chill started coming (round 1am).......and the next day (at 35 degrees) there were folks from Wisconconsin swimming in the pool (not a heated pool either)!!!!! We asked...and they said....it's still warmer than it is in Wisconsin right now....(it was -7 degrees when they left their home)!!!!!! |
In Wisconsin in December you can walk on water. lol
bbbrrrrrrrrr |
(I would vote for New Orleans ~ the mix of people and history would facinate me to no end)
If Cobalt and I ever get a chance to get away for 4 days, I would love to rent a cabin in the mountains of Wyoming or South Dakota during the fall season....not near a bunch of other cabins, but somewhat secluded ;) . |
Ever been south of the equator Lil?

No, I haven't been much of any where. Is why I thought I'd ask everyone here. I have a thinkg about wanting to see the night skies from the other side of the equator. |
CALI-FORNIA here I come........Come see lovely San Francisco,Yosmite,Carmel,Big Sur Los Angeles,Hollywood,Palm Springs,Big Bear.
|
lakritze---It is NOW Cal-I-fornia.Jay Leno said so the other night,
when he introduced Arnold S. Irish P.S.I'm not even going to attempt,to spell, his last name! |
Couple of ideas. Windjammer cruises are really neat. Can get them normal and I understand there are even nude cruises available. :)
Also, have you ever been to a fantasy motel. Pick the location, but they can be a lot of fun if you're looking for times of intimacy. My wife and I have tried three different ones and love them all. (We enjoyed switching rooms each day to try different settings.) In any case ... have fun! |
lakritze~ Mr. Lil mentioned SanFran as well
dicksbro~ I have thought about staying at a BDSM hotel...we've not done much role play. |
I have noticed that a few people have mentioned cruises.I
don't know all of the circumstances, but my wife & I , have joked about them lately. It seems, almost like , everytime we put the news on,there is another cruise that has to come back, because of a MASS sickness on board. It has been so prevalently talked about, that we have wondered how the cruise lines, stay in business!
