Facial expressions and body language. Eyes are the first spot I look. I've noticed that certain forms of body language and "twitches" are difficult to disguise.

In answer to your question Catch22..... both... in everyday life... and even here...

"Is that a gun in your pocket?...................." is an obvious signal.

But for all a man's self confidence, bravado and experience, I think we all get a little bashful and awkward when we're in the presence of someone we like. Awww.

And I agree that the eyes don't lie.

There is a spark, a moment of electricity, when eyes meet

and hands touch.

The lips and heart confirm as an afterthought.

I have a eye and a hearing problem, so I make up for it other ways. I have a sense of humour and some say a quick wit. But I can not look direct at anyone, nor do i let anyone look direct into my eyes. I can 'feel' people. Can not explain how. I can also tune into someone, and feel their feelings somehow. Even at long distance.

Every person sends different signals. That's part of the fun -- deciphering the puzzle! And if you get it right, you get to claim your reward. :D
