I too prefer correct spelling. I find that I misinterpret oddly spelled words more frequently.

I have become familiar with some of the current compressions, but sometimes innocent mistakes can obscure a post’s meaning.

And Lixy..............just ask PF.............you are most certainly not the only one here who is anal about spelling!! I think some kids are very lucky I never became an English teacher. I'd probably be in prison for murder by now. :D

I have an IQ of 180 and can't spell a lot of every day small words. I'd give you some examples, but then you'd laugh at the way I spelled them! In college I passed my legal terminology with flying colors and had no problem with the spelling, but the little words get me. I usualy can tell if I'm spelling it wrong, I just don't know the right way and can't ever remember so I'll usualy only use words I know how to spell. And even though my spelling may bother some people, I've been here too long to leave now (3 years next month:D ) I'm sure my spelling has improved since joining pixies however.:p

lmao i cant spell to save my life, always got F's on my exams LMAO but i kicked much as s in math and chemestry LMAO man was my class pissed when i threw the curve in chemestry !!!! heheheh made a 98% (pre curve, after curve 100% ) in that class, thought i was gonna get my ass kicked!!!!
