I had raw oysters about four months ago and they were great! It did take a little getting used to though.
Beats me why, but I can eat raw oysters with no problem and can't stand warm pineapple. |
Calmari (my kids are sick, sick people for eating this crap!!)
Liver and many, many other things that are just gross! |
Mayonnaise. And almost anything containing mayonnaise. I hate the stuff.
Any sandwich that has been within 20 ft. of the mayo is contaminated by association. |
OMG, I LOVE calamari and liver (not together, of course)! I can't handle stuff that's too hot (peppery) and *shudder*, sorry but I don't do Indian food.
|
Liver, heart or tongue or mountain oysters just can't do it

Hamburger Helper <yuk>

Hot pickles, literally. Do not put them on my hamburger. Cold pickles are divine, Polish dills, baby gherkins, bread and butter they are terrific. But hot, they are not.
|
But have you ever had them fried Sal?
|
Saurkraut.....I can't even be in the same room when it's being cooked!

What Alasse said ^^^
|
Sushi, anchovies, and most organs (although I used to like liver and onions).
You know, the good news is that we all have different tastes so a lot of food won't go to waste. (How's that for positive point of view. :boink: ) |
I WILL NOT touch mushrooms(no fungus pleez), liver, oysters(raw), snails, anything that used to have more than 4 legs(ie: garden friends), most veggies(cooked), peppers(but I like pepper in my food)...hmm...I have a LOOOOOOOONNG list of things I WON'T eat....
|
The list is very long but let's start with seafood and shellfish and I'll end with blueberries today.
There are a lot of things I've not had the courage or opportunity to try, I'm very late in developing my palate. That's what happens when you lead a sheltered life. |

I have sauted sliced cukes in butter and eaten them with salt and pepper, which is suprisingly good. But no I've never had fried pickles. Is that an invitation Lil? :) |
