Very sorry to hear
My Deepest Hopes, sympathies, and best wishes to her and her family

I know it is hard
A very good friend of mine is constantly battling a similar fight, and she is as young as I. IT is a terrible Disease.
Three years ago my Dad passed away. Prostate, and complications...

Hoping for a speedy recovery

I'd like to thank my mate PF for putting into words which i could not at the time *hugz*

And to you all for your kind thoughtful words *hugz*

Mum is still not well, but improved a tiny bit since her first treatment. She is still losing weight :( from not being able to eat properly. She has 2 more treatments to go before we will know if they were able to get it or if another way my have to be tried (ie surgery)

Fingers crossed they can get it without having to go further, but i will add i am very worried this time around!

Thanx again for all your words of support!

PantyFanatic 01-16-2008 09:01 PM

Thanks you for the update, even it isn't the news we all want to hear. She WILL be in our thoughts. :x:

Day by day, Sharni.

The instructor of my BIL (a navy type), went to the annual lecture Winston Churchill gave to the best and brightest military minds of the Commonwealth.

He walked in and stood at the lectern.

He locked eyes with the audience and said,

"Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never ever give up."

And walked out.

((((Sharni)))) You're still getting positive thoughts coming to you from me too dear.

A short update.

I've spoken to Mum quite a bit over the last few days. She REALLY is not well. She still cannot eat and is regularly vomiting. She hasnt got the energy to walk and has the shakes from feeling so weak. I told her to get her ass back to the doctor to get some help, how can anyone fight cancer when you are feeling so low. Mum is going to try to get in today to see her specialist. I told her i'd ring tonight to see how she went.

It really doesn't look good :( I'm beyond the worried stage now. Damn i wish i lived closer!!

wyndhy 01-28-2008 01:37 PM

(((hugs))) i wish i could offer more.
