I was okay with the ones they kicked. I'mm with you Lil.. they could have taken a couple with them... That bitchy girl for one. Brenna? I have no patience for her. She's just there for the drama!

My picks this year I think are Chris (swoon) and Kellie (?) Pickler. But there are others I just love to see have made it that far. Mandisa for one. And Taylor. I don't want to like Ace.... but he can sing. So I have to.

Anyone else freaked out by Paula and her strange wax job on her eyebrows for the one episode that she then covered up with bang the next? (no? just me? lol.)

Not just you, I saw them and even Mr. Lil commented. I don't want to like Ace either due to his "pretty" factor but did he pick the right song or what???

Dan said, "Private surgery much, Paula?" but I thought she looked different because of her hair (which I liked). I missed the brows! Damn!

The judges are rough this week... well so are some of the performances too... But I just got through watching Bucky, and I really liked his performance - he's not one of my favorites... but he was on tonight.

There's a good documentary on CBC that Dan is watching so I've been missing it . . . My silver fox performed well at the opening, I know!

Bucky did great. And I loved Taylor as usual. A lot of them were off. But Chris ROCKED! I'm totally voting for him.

I missed Chris' performance while I was loading up the dishwasher but caught some of the judges' comments.

I missed Chris as well, but they played a portion of what he did on the radio this morning and I was blew away! OMG! He is awesome! I have to agree with Lil though - I think that he will do well from the exposure, but can do better (if agents are smart) outside of the competition.

I think American voters did well for tonights show.

There are a couple of men as well as a couple of women that I like. My early-in-the-season picks are Chris and Mandisa.

Local news just showed Taylor Hicks family at the bar he performs at, with tshirts that say "Soul Patrol"...... fun!

I think the right people got voted off, although I'd have sent Melissa home this week and maybe Ayla next week.

I hope so^^^. I have to tell you that I love the dude with the ears too. There is something about his grin that makes me wanna hug him or chain him to the dungeon floor :D

LOL.... "the dude with the ears". I know just who you mean and I think he's got a great voice. It'll be interesting to see what they do with him now that he's in the top 12 and will have a stylist working on him. Should be interesting to see what they do with Bucky and Kevin, too.

I wasn't too surprised about last nights kick off. I was more surprised at the "bottom 3" though.

I watched... why can't Kevin go away? I don't think he is that good. I was shocked at the bottom three, but also didn't see all of Tuesday night's show.

The bottom 3 surprised me. I expected Melissa to leave soon, but not quite yet. I was SO sure that it would be Kevin/Chicken Little on the plane home.

Go figure.

I am pretty confident about my picks for the final six.

Girls: Paris Bennet, Katharine McPhee, and Mandisa

I would say Paris is there definitely, but Kellie Pickler might sneak in just because she has that giggly southern blonde thing going and some guys might fall for her Jessica Simpson impersonation even though her voice is no where near the best. If Kellie sneaks in, I think Mandisa is out because she seems too professional to me....I think she has the best voice, but it is too practiced (she is 29, the oldest, and always reminds me of a professional back up singer for Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston). I don't think the audience will connect with her enough for that reason.

Guys: Taylor Hicks, Elliot Yamin, and Chris Daughtry

These guys are locks. Bucky has no range and is limited in song choice. Kevin's voice isn't special and the innocent look can only get him so far. Ace is all show, no go.

Top Two: Chris Daughtry and Paris Bennet.

Elliot doesn't have the right personality and Taylor sometimes won't be taken seriously. I have already said my piece about Mandesa and Kellie, but I don't think Katharine will make it because she lacks personality sometimes and can come off as fake a bit. Paris seems to becoming more and more confident in interviews to match how she is when she is singing (which is better than Fantasia in my opinion). Chris is just great.

Winner: Chris Daughtry
All along it seems Chris has set the bar. Although he only sings a rock style, it just seems right because he is original and makes you feel like you are watching the next rock star.

Now if only I was psychic and these predictions would turn out right...I'd be in Vegas right now.

Hi All.. I'm pretty happy with how things have progressed. Except for Chicken Little. I used to think he was cute. But he's just annoying now and getting mouthy.

I think it will be down to Mandisa and Chris..which I think is awesome because they're so different and rock at what they do.

I have no clue. I still love Chris and Taylor. Not tooooo crazy about any of the girls.

The only one I saw tonight was Taylor. And my very first thought was "he looks a tad like George Clooney". So I found it entertaining when Ryan said he looked like a cross of George, someone else, and Phil Donahue. I could totally see it.

Yeah, is it just me or is he looking better now? Not sure what they've actually done to him.

They styled his hair differently... it's got more of a side part vs the just sort of shaggy fall where it may. I also believe he's now in full stage makeup. They might have groomed his brows some as well.

I thought Paris was the best last night but she had already performed "Fever" on a previous show.

It also showed that Manilow is a musician's musician.

Elliot looked better too and they are shooting him from an angle that is much more flattering.
