If given the choice do you shop someplace like Wal Mart because of the price or do you go to the mom & pop store?

I like the smaller stores and use them quite a bit ... but I suppose most of our shopping is done at the large chain stores.

Do you look for name brand clothes or do you look for similar items at a lower price?

Sort of depends what I'm shopping for. I can't ever recall buying a pair of jeans that wasn't Levi's. Well, other than the "Toughskins" mom got for me when I was a wee IowaLad. I've been known for stumble across a shirt or something at K-Mart or Target that I liked and bought it though. I'll go to an outlet mall if I'm going on a big time clothes shopping spree.

I suppose corn flakes are maybe the cereal I eat most often although I like several different kinds.

When was the last time you went for a drive just for the heck of it?

Yesterday. Went for a ride and then stopped in E. Peoria and ended up taking some pictures of the Peoria skyline. Actually, this is three pictures merged into a panarama.

The picture started at several meg (5487x1809 pixels) which I reduced down to under 100K so I could upload it. It's really huge. :)

Nope, thought about buying one once when I went thru a stretch of being best man at 4 weddings in a summer but never got around to it.

A local video store. They seem to carry a good selection. We buy a lot of DVDs, too. I remember when we got our first VCR ... "movies" cost $70 or more ... now, Wally World the first week of a new DVD sells them at under $15 (goes to $20 the next week).

Do you like to swim?

Nope, never really been fond of that despite my doctors telling me how good it would be for my lungs. I just never understood how drowning could be of a benefit to me. I usually avoid swimming if I can.

Yep. Used to do a lot of that when I was in my early to mid-teens ... although I used to like model railroading.

It was photography........ but it put me in debt so I had to make it a career and now I'm in even more debt!!!

So I'd have to say my garden and orchard keep me busy now.

Are you enjoying this warm winter?

Yeah, I guess so. My house is old and really not energy efficient. Won't get new windows and siding installed until spring so at least the warmer weather is helping a bit with the heating bill. It really doesn't feel like winter though.


Have you got an idea of what you may do for a summer vacation in '07?

Not yet. Lot's I'd like to do, but no definite plans right now. Suspect PAGAN will not happen until '08. :(

Actually, I've got a couple of destinations planned for road trips. California to see my folks (and hopefully then up the coast to the Bay Area), Texas to see my sister, and if all goes right maybe a trip to see a friend in the Volunteer State. Hmmmm, I-74 would seem to be a good route to start with for that one. ;)

Nope. I'd really hoped to get a tune up on one, but that may wait a bit.

No, usually it's between 5 and 6 hours, but then I often nap for 1 to 2 hours in the afternoon.

I like both but busy lets you learn more about more people. Can get a bit "interesting" when "Wake up next to" or "kissing" dicksbro or Coaster though. :D On those days I wish for a bit of calm. :rofl:
