Do you like to cook?

Yes, although I don't have as much time for it as I wish I did. When I do cook, though, I'm usually well-complimented.

What do you find most annoying on a regular basis?

My health. No doubt about it, I don't know what to expect from one day to the next. Feels like a good day today though. :D


What would be your dream job?

Working in the PR department at MTV. Or to be in Girls Aloud LOL

What would be your worst job?

Hmmmm, worst job........ I guess I'd have to say being a funeral director. I don't know that I could handle all of the sadness all the time.


When and where was your last vacation?

My trip back home (Kentucky) for a late Christmas. I'm hopefully going away for the weekend this month, though.

What's the one thing you buy to spoil yourself?

Hmmm, tough one. I guess sometimes I go a little crazy at the meat counter and get an expensive cut of steak that I really could do without. That's not very often though.


What's your favorite soft drink?

Well, if I'm being good, then it's Diet Dr. Pepper. If not, Sprite or Pepsi.

What thoughts keep you awake at night (generalities are okay)?

Well, usually it's something to do with health, money or the hope of finding true love.

The last few nights it has been thoughts of if/when my cystic fibrosis is going to cause me to have liver problems and diabetes to go along with the lung and digestive problems I've already got. And I'm wondering if I'll be strong enough to fight it when it does happen.


What's your favorite movie?

So many ... it's really hard to pick. I have consistently loved West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof ... they those are two 'definitely on the list' films.

What's your favorite snack food?

Hmmm, that's a very tough one. I love chips & salsa or queso, caramel corn is great, but I think I'll go with pretzels. With a bit of cheddar cheese dip.

I did not make any and, as a result, this is one year I've avoided breaking any. :D

Democrats yes but for some reason I'm only coming up with two for the Republicans.

No, not the name ... but I remember her. I was in kindergarten in Feudenheim, Germany (suburb of Mannheim) at the time.

Did or do you have any favorite aunts and uncles?

My mom was an only child and my dad just had the one sister so I guess I'd better say Aunt Mary. We weren't really that close though.


Do you remember your first "real" kiss?

Yep. I do. I was in 9th grade and it was at the "Teen-Age" club for military dependent kids in Sendai, Japan.

Do you remember the first time you "drove" a car?

Yep, it was my very first day of driver's ed class and I was scared to death.

Yep yep. Both at home and at school!

Well ... I don't know if that was the only reason, but I have been at the mall and sat down (the wife was shopping) and just watched the people zipping by one way or the other.

Do you prefer ice cream in a cone or a cup?

Doesn't make much difference to me really. I really like sugar cones though.


Do you prefer for a chocolate shake/malt to be made with chocolate or vanilla ice cream?

I tend to the vanilla ice cream.

Do you prefer to carefully map out a trip beforehand ... or play it by ear once you get going?

I plan it out but I will make the occasional "change on the fly" if something comes up that isn't scheduled and it looks to be fun/interesting.

Last year.

As an adult, I haven't closely follow sports (although I enjoy the games I watch), but I used to live in Baltimore and the Orioles have been a sentimental favorite ever since. (We were there when the Browns moved from St. Louis to Baltimore and became the Orioles.)

Have you ever driven a semi?

Nope, about the closest I've come is the 24' U-Haul I used to move my stuff this past May. That was an automatic tranny though. Not sure I could handle the shifting of a true big rig. Not right off the bat anyway.

Nope, I never have, but sometime I am going to make it there.

Nope, not because I've changed jobs.


Have you ever been to a live taping of a television show?

Not unless you're counting a news story kind of program. We've been on a few of those over the years.

Have you ever designed a home for yourself and had it subsequently built?

Nope, but it has always sort of been a dream of mine. In my mind I could design a 2007 version of a Frank Lloyd Wright home for the family on a tight budget. Sort of a mini wonderland of architecture.


Do you usually remember your dreams when you wake up?

Sometimes. Occasionally I write them down as soon as I wake up to remember them. It's fun looking back on them later, jogging your memoruy of all the weird things.
