I usually have CD's in when I'm driving and listen to mixes when I'm in the house..but when I do have the radio on, it's usually on one of those lite-rock "best of the 80's, 90's, and today" stations.

Yes, I think I've had two blood uncles and one uncle through marriage that had/have cancer. My mother-in-law who just passed away had breast cancer, but surgery got rid of that and she'd been cancer-free for 15-years or more. Seems like the bigger problem has been heart trouble (which we associated with heavy smoking). :(

Is there an aunt or uncle you've felt especially close to?

My aunt who is my godmother is having a tough time (understandble) with the stomach/liver diagnosis of her husband. He's a wonderful man and I miss him already. It's bad.

Is there a Pixie you know you can depend on for some comforting thoughts? (I know DB has been ESPECIALLY good for me)

TY, Steph. A lot of Pixies have been very supportive, but there are a few that have been uncommonly so (yourself included).

No, I don't think so. There are several (actually quite a lot) I feel closer to than others; and a few both my wife and I feel close to; but I don't believe that I dislike anyone here.

MUCH less!

Enjoy both...read novels more but am more impressed by the craft of writing a great short story.

Only by my standard, not theirs. Use to do a few of the junkets that were popular before there was a dog-and-pony show on every other dock around the country. Only one time did I get lucky and hit for a total of $3,700 at two crap tables in less than 3 hours. Spent the rest of the time in the lounge. Was scard to go back. LMAO (they still have more of my $ than I have of theirs.)
