WildIrish 11-15-2006 09:49 AM

I'm picking up my new stove today so I cooked a few meals in advance last night just in case. I've been burned by last minute "hmmm...this won't work" things before.

Tonight, it's meatloaf & buttered cavitappi with steamed asparagus! :slurp:

osuche 11-15-2006 10:20 AM

Tuna noodle casserole

IowaMan 11-20-2006 04:02 PM

Nothing too special maybe just some grilled ham/turkey & cheese sandwiches and a couple of glasses of milk.

Neige 11-20-2006 06:05 PM

I am having cream of chicken soup.

Mae 11-20-2006 10:47 PM

We are endeavouring to clear out the 2 freezers in the garage. One is almost empty. So...leftovers until they are empty and the pantry is cleared out. Then...we buy ONLY what we will eat and only purchase what we need for special dishes, when we prepare those special dishes. :) I'm looking at almost 40 hamburger buns and patties leftover from a BBQ at hub's office awhile ago. :faint:

Neige 11-21-2006 06:23 PM

I am having brie and baguette.

IowaMan 11-21-2006 07:16 PM

Couple of ham & swiss sandwiches, way too much of a bag of baked Lay's and a caffeine free Pepsi.

Lilith 11-21-2006 07:28 PM

I had some wine :D and some brie :D and some more wine.

Pita 11-23-2006 09:11 AM

We're going the the China Buffet for Thanksgiving dinner!! :D

jseal 11-23-2006 11:56 AM

Roast turkey with stuffing, sauerkraut with Polish kielbasa, mashed potatoes with gravy, creamed spinach, rolls with butter, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, carrot cake, and ice cream. That should feed the ravening horde!

osuche 11-23-2006 06:10 PM

I had a burger at Chili's in the Dallas airport :(

Care to share, jseal?

jseal 11-24-2006 06:42 AM

osuche,

While sixteen sat down at our table yesterday, I will be enjoying leftovers this week; Dearsweet makes a turkey soup of surpassing excellence. Should you be in the Monumental City I would be happy to set an additional place. :)

osuche 11-24-2006 04:36 PM

Sixteen! Dearsweet deserves a combat medal

IowaMan 11-26-2006 06:04 PM

I think I'm just going to be completely lazy and throw a frozen pizza in the oven. Well, if I've got one in the freezer that is.

dicksbro 11-26-2006 06:04 PM

I dunno yet. :)

sodaklostsoul 11-26-2006 07:07 PM

Micky D's.

Mae 11-26-2006 10:09 PM

Neige 11-26-2006 10:50 PM

IowaMan 11-27-2006 07:26 AM

Got all day to think about it but I think I'm going to make something with chicken hooters.

osuche 11-27-2006 06:35 PM

Nothing -- gotta make up for 4 days of being a piggy :oink:

musicman 11-27-2006 06:40 PM

Lilith 11-27-2006 06:46 PM

Neige 11-27-2006 08:48 PM

Leftover potato soup.

Mae 11-27-2006 08:56 PM

Hub is totally stressed out. He actually is having a beer. Well, sipping it occasionally. And, he is making chateaubriand (sp?) and has ordered 3 huge pizzas. There is only 2 of us and we just picked up our 4 dogs from the kennel. I don't think the meat is going to the dogs.

IowaMan 11-28-2006 02:08 PM

I had every intention of making a batch of chili this morning but I don't see me getting around to that. I think I may just hit the sack really early and skip dinner altogether.
