Thank you Mae, that brought a much needed smile to my face. :D

Just remember to baste him every 15 minutes or so. Wouldn't want him to dry out and end up not worth your trouble.

Mae 11-28-2006 04:46 PM

Happy to be of service, Iowa. :D

Neige 11-28-2006 05:47 PM

Mae 11-29-2006 09:48 PM

Homemade beef stew and cornbread

osuche 11-29-2006 10:29 PM

cupcakes, tortilla chips, and a bit of dry leftover pasta.

Ah...the life of a bachelorette :p

IowaMan 11-30-2006 02:21 PM

Not really sure yet but I'm betting there won't be jello or a grayish slab of something that is supposedly a chicken breast involved.

Feels sort of like a tomato soup and grilled cheese night.

Neige 11-30-2006 06:36 PM

I am going to make pan-fried haddock with some fried potato slices.

Oldfart 11-30-2006 07:10 PM

I'm going to make . . . . . reservations.

sodaklostsoul 12-01-2006 05:59 PM

Going to Pizza Slut...........I mean Hut.

Neige 12-01-2006 06:04 PM

Hmmm I'm thinking about grilled cheese sandwiches...

dicksbro 12-01-2006 06:31 PM

I think some "Maid Rite" type sandwiches and some side dishes. Haven't had that for a while. :)

Lilith 12-01-2006 06:53 PM

margaritas

Mae 12-01-2006 07:06 PM

Eggplant stew with Basmati rice for me; cold Chateaubriand (sp?) with warm Lipton onion potatoes for hub. Dogs have been fed and biscuited already.

IowaMan 12-02-2006 09:07 AM

My town is having it's annual turning on of the holiday lights get together downtown tonight (even though the lights have actually been on for the last couple of weeks) so I'm throwing together a pot of potato soup and the old stand-by chili in hopes that my friends will want to get the hell out of the cold and come back and watch college football.

I'd hate to have to play the "I was just in the hospital two nights ago, I think I'm going to head back to my place so this doesn't turn into pneumonia," card but I'm not too proud to break it out if I have to. :D

wyndhy 12-02-2006 01:08 PM

chinese take-out is sounding good.

sodaklostsoul 12-03-2006 10:13 PM

Homemade beef stew with fresh baked bread mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, nice for such cold day.

osuche 12-03-2006 10:38 PM

Chicken stew with noodles, mushrooms, carrots, and peas. I love the crock pot in the winter!

IowaMan 12-04-2006 05:28 PM

I'm going to bake the living hell out of a huge sweet potato. I'll top it off with a bunch of butter, a little brown sugar and some cinnamon.

Mae 12-04-2006 05:54 PM

Yet another night of eggplant stew. Will have the remainder for lunch and dinner tomorrow. Whew! I have got to find some vegan recipes for one person. Yes, I do freeze things.

Neige 12-04-2006 06:06 PM

Pizza :D

Lilith 12-04-2006 08:23 PM

Oldfart 12-05-2006 12:57 AM

Packet Caesar Salad and whatever I can scrounge at work.

osuche 12-05-2006 01:03 AM

They shove Caesar into a packet now? :spin: What a shame.

Et tu, Brute?

Oldfart 12-05-2006 01:07 AM

Brutus sum.

Summa cum loudly.

WildIrish 12-05-2006 12:16 PM

Boneless pork ribs, slow-cooked over a bed of sauerkraut.

osuche 12-05-2006 12:20 PM

Leftovers -- we have chicken noodle stew and Indian and Chinese in the fridge. Pick yer poison

IowaMan 12-05-2006 03:56 PM

Going out for Italian tonight and I'm really craving toasted ravioli so I'm thinking I'll be happy with pretty much anything after that.

Neige 12-05-2006 10:42 PM

I had an egg and cheese sandwich on toast.

osuche 12-05-2006 11:43 PM

We had thai food in the City

Pita 12-06-2006 05:30 PM

3 oz of baked chicken, 1 cup of green beans and 1 cup of baby carrots. Yucky I know, but I do get 1 cup of light vanilla ice-cream for dessert. :)

wyndhy 12-06-2006 05:43 PM

french dip, scalloped potatoes and green beans
