Very delicate and diligent moderation - and on a site like this where people can really open up emotionally - and invest quite a bit of time and effort in their pictures and thoughts it is crucial...

Lilith you have helped to create and maintain a site that offers a very pleasant place to play on a World wide Web which has soem really nasty corners...

I was not really surprised to see this poll on here as I know there have been some in the past that have wanted Lilith's moderating head high on a pole outside the Pixie's village. That being the case I was somewhat surprised to see 100% of the votes affirming that Lilith is a moderating machine that rocks the boards like the Demon Goddess that she is. I am NOT saying she shouldn't have 100% in her favor, I think she is a superb mod and when she makes a judgment call I know she will do what she believes will be the best for Pixies. Heck, the only problem I have with Lilith being the mod is that it cuts into the time she has to stalk me. :p

I really hope that those few that voted against our chief moderator take a little time to understand exactly what a complex job being a moderator is. You sometimes have to make decisions that are not necessarily what you would choose to do if it were just your site, but when you singed up for the job you agree to do what was in the best interest of the site.

As such, IMHO, Lilith does a phenomenal job of keeping this site well moderated and under control. Kudos to her!

A moderator who cannot be and stay full-on

is probably not up to the job.

I go away for a couple of days, and the shit seems to have hit the fan. What did I miss, and how could anyone think that Lilith is anything but the whip-wielding, skin-flaying, overbearing bitch she is, and PROPERLY needs to be?

well I think lilith is a great person and does a wonderful job.

I cannot say in all honesty that I have agreed with all the moderation decisions but I have with most that I know of.
I would say that she always acts in what she believes is the best interests of this wonderful site and with integrity.

So I give her 97% and a few whacks on the bum too LOL

I have to echo what Bilbo said, I too was offered & declined the job...and whatever decisions are made, I never question Lilith's integrity in making the tough calls...

I'm not quite sure why this thread subject came up in the first place.....we know Lil is the awsomest, always eager to please...
