Is the mossy rock garden an in-camera panorama or an externally stitched one?
|
Great pictures. Love the moss covered rocks.

In camera panorama (sorry that one is a bit big), the one looking over the range is another

Yeah, but that's still better than gruesome.

There is beauty in every day, you just have to look! (taken 12th Jan 2012) ![]() |
Spactacular sunset is spactacular.
|
perfect.
|
These are not shopped, they are how they came out of the camera! Last nights sunset ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Honest, are those colors even close to the reality?
|
I have not done any enhancement. The camera was on sunset mode, so does slightly enhance the reds and oranges. But honestly, the photos portray very closely to the colours that were in the sky, that was why i dived out there and got eaten by mozzies to grab em lol
The 1st few that show the large cloud banks in the distance, they were storm clouds with lightning add that to the natural orange that was in the sky and the photo was the result |
Stormy skies This came over home today. I had to drive into town and took my camera with me. Boy oh boy were those clouds holding some rain, which dropped road travel down to under 60klm on the way back out home! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
I think I'll put my raincoat on. :)
Nice pictures! |
Very nice pictures.
Will your camera take a polarised filter? |
Thank you :)
The rain that dumped was unreal. I drove through it on the way home, cars were down to 60klm cause the road turned to water and the wipers just could not keep up, pretty awesome! Yep camera takes filters |
Great pics again, Sharni. Were those clouds moving as fast as that type seems?

:roflmao: |
That was quite quick, about 20min after it hit it was gone and back to humid lol
I normally spot pic opportunities when i DONT have the camera lol. The rumble of thunder tipped me off this time. |

Territory Day, a self-government (when it suits Canberra) celebration is one of Australia's last hold-outs of citizen fireworks. Apparently the other 99% of Ozzians can't be trusted with things that go bang in the night. I went to the official fireworks before the grandkids and I had some explosively quality time.
As most of you know, fireworks are shitfull/horrible/difficult thing to photograph. I took about 160 pics, playing with the shutter/aperture stuff on my digital SLR. Of 165 pics, I got about 40 good ones. Here are a sample. Any of you who play this game know how hard this can be sometimes. |

Where I'm at we have a massive burn ban because of the severe heat and subsequent lack of rain. Looks like no boom booms this year for the 4th.
