I'm having leftover Thai take-out : orange cashew chicken and sticky rice.

flutelady 01-20-2007 08:57 PM

Roasted red potatoes, mesquite chicken breasts, and lots of cooked carrots.

IowaMan 01-20-2007 10:43 PM

I went the lazy route and stopped for a couple of burgers on my way home from an appt. this afternoon.

osuche 01-20-2007 10:44 PM

Sign me up for the lazy route, too.

We just decided on fish sticks and tater tots. :D

maddy 01-21-2007 10:33 AM

If the new recipe is edible, beef stronganoff over rice with some veggie.

jseal 01-21-2007 04:40 PM

A beef roast, noodles, and mixed vegetables.

dicksbro 01-21-2007 05:47 PM

Prime Rib tonight. We're going out to dinner with another couple. Actually, in about 40 minutes. :boink:

Lilith 01-21-2007 05:49 PM

Grilled chicken and yellow squash, cukes in vinegar, a salad of butter lettuces with strawberries, pecans and blue cheese. I wish we were having chili.

That sounds good to me, too. Maybe, if there's time, we'll drive down to Florida from Illinois after the ribeye and have some of the left overs.

Oops, my wife has to work tomorrow ... rats ... I guess we won't be doing that afterall. :( Oh well, you guys enjoy.

IowaMan 01-21-2007 08:46 PM

I went with the breakfast for dinner theme tonight. Bacon & scrambled eggs with toast.

campingboy 01-21-2007 09:05 PM

grilled Pork Loin, and a salad with tons of stuff in it.

sodaklostsoul 01-21-2007 09:15 PM

No clue but I'm getting hungry.

IowaMan 01-23-2007 09:07 PM

A grilled roast beef, turkey & cheese sandwich. Washed it down with a cold glass of milk. I guess technically I had an antibiotic for dessert. Probably a good thing since I'm such a poor cook, don't need to take any chances of poisoning myself. lol

Booger 01-23-2007 09:19 PM

Black bean chili

Booger 01-23-2007 09:20 PM

oh yea with corn bread

osuche 01-24-2007 01:42 AM

Chipotle burrito at 10 pm at night...crazy woman!

Oldfart 01-24-2007 02:42 AM

Bacon and egg sandwich.

IowaMan 01-24-2007 11:52 PM

I had a banana split with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and cashews. Nothing else sounded good at the time.

sodaklostsoul 01-25-2007 12:01 AM

That^^^^^sounds good.

IowaMan 01-25-2007 02:37 PM

Been cooking some chicken breasts in the Crock Pot for much of the day and later on they will get shredded and be transformed into BBQ chicken sandwiches.

wyndhy 01-25-2007 02:46 PM

there's some chicken noodle soup, some slow cooked ribs, half a pizza and half a stromboli, ho'made mac-n-cheese, sandwich meat...it's leftover night and it's a virtual smorgesboard so who knows what'll end up on my plate.

Irezumi Kiss 01-25-2007 03:02 PM

I've been getting mostly vegetarian Korean dishes for the past 4 days in order to get some kinks out of my system (from overdoing too much cheap Chinese takeout) and its been doing my body really good...so I'll be having a bento of assorted raw & marinated veggies (spinach or kale, mushrooms, bean sprouts and radish) as the main groove, maybe a side eel kimbap (rice roll) and another side of soba noodles or seafood pajun (pancake). It mostly depends as the place I get takeout from changes their offerings and also by the time I get there certain choice items might be gone.

osuche 01-26-2007 01:04 AM

Grilled garlic chicken breast, stuffing, gravy, and a salad

Lion 01-26-2007 01:33 AM

Breakfast

IowaMan 01-26-2007 06:01 PM

Breakfast sounds good, I think I'm going to whip up some waffles.

Lilith 01-26-2007 06:12 PM

steamed broccoli in garlic sauce, white rice, and won ton soup

osuche 01-26-2007 11:14 PM

I was thinking the same thing!!! I'd love to have the recipe too!

Supper last night was Michelina's cheese tortellini with broccoli and alfredo sauce. :o

cavegirl 01-27-2007 12:52 PM

i've made a fairly healthy stir fry of red, green and yellow peppers, onions, minute steak and black bean sauce, served with plain rice...

*whips off pinny* ;)

IowaMan 01-30-2007 05:51 PM

I went with an early dinner today. Made one of the T-bone steaks that I got the super discount on over the weekend and cooked it to a perfect med. rare. I also made some garlic mashed potatoes (went a bit crazy with the garlic) and some baby carrots. Right now I'm thinking that I may need to open up a bottle of wine for dessert for a real change of pace.

Pita 01-30-2007 06:41 PM

Hamburgers with pepper jack cheese and baked zucchini

sodaklostsoul 01-30-2007 11:05 PM

Neige 02-01-2007 08:03 PM

I had a huge spinach salad with more bacon than is healthy for any one person to eat in one sitting.

osuche 02-01-2007 08:47 PM

I'm making home made Chicken Parmesan

sodaklostsoul 02-02-2007 08:52 AM

For breakfast I'm having cookie crisp cereal.

You know, when I was a kid they made that in Vanilla Wafer flavor as well and I loved it. I think it's just the chocolate chip now though, isn't it?

Not really that hungry, I think I may just have some tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich or something.
