Neige 02-02-2007 07:58 PM

I had a club sandwich from the cafeteria since I worked late at the lab.

sodaklostsoul 02-11-2007 09:37 PM

Boog's potato soup.

osuche 02-11-2007 09:50 PM

I'll fix some rockfish fillets cajun style, and baked squash stuffed with artichoke. Maybe some mashed potatoes

maddy 02-11-2007 09:50 PM

spagetti - if you can really call it that... it was spagetti pasta with cheese sauce and cut up chicken.

Neige 02-11-2007 10:15 PM

I had a lentil - tuna - tomato - onion - coriander salad.

dicksbro 02-12-2007 03:26 AM

We had breaded chicken breasts; mashed potatoes and gravy; and, whole-kernel corn. Some fresh fruit for dessert.

wyndhy 02-12-2007 06:22 PM

breakfast

IowaMan 02-15-2007 07:33 PM

A grilled chicken burrito and a super nachos plate from Taco John's. Got a feeling that the heartburn will be setting in here shortly.

Neige 02-15-2007 07:46 PM

Frozen pizza and beer.

wyndhy 02-15-2007 07:55 PM

we had pizzas too pixiesprite. we made 'em out of whitebread. i promised 'em to the kids and when i went to look there wasn't any sauce  so instead of having to renege (which would have caused tears) i took some tomato paste, mixed it with v8 to thin it and added some powdered and dried spices...i was pleaseantly surprised...it tasted pretty good.

IowaMan 02-15-2007 08:03 PM

V8, really? That's a great idea. I don't think I ever would've come up with that. And it was pretty good huh?

What kind of beer PixieSprite?

Neige 02-15-2007 08:07 PM

Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale, of course. Brewed in Halifax, NS. Those who like it, like it a lot. ;)

And wyndhy, you're a genius!!!

IowaMan 02-15-2007 08:09 PM

Hmmmm, never tried it but I do love pale ales.

jseal 02-17-2007 04:54 PM

Dearsweet & I will be eating at the Diner. :)

musicman 02-17-2007 05:37 PM

home delivered chinese (and I love Keith's too)

Irezumi Kiss 02-17-2007 05:54 PM

It's been a thousand years since I had a really great burger. But it's almost too cold to schlep all the way to the better places to get one for takeout (most are downtown and I'm in midtown...and if I go downtown I might be seduced into drinking at my haunts which I don't need tonight) and I'll hate settling for just mediocre. When you've eaten something superior it's just not the same anymore. It's almost why I barely tolerate the takeout chinese place in my 'hood because it's okay in general, good when I'm really hungry and great when I'm really hungry and broke. But tonight I feel like I need something that will make me smile to eat, not just fill my stomach.

So maybe...that burger tonight. Maybe battling the cold is worth it.

IowaMan 02-17-2007 06:06 PM

This stomach virus I picked up is just kicking my ass so I guess it's a cup of mint tea and some instant ramen noodles for me tonight. Not sure if that will stay down but that's what I'm gonna try.

Lilith 02-17-2007 07:21 PM

I got take out for myself since my guys are all occupied.

Crisper's summer salad~ mapple turkey, strawberries, apples, pears, honeyed pecans and blue cheese on a bed of greens with herb citrus dressing

my favorite me and myself date night indulgence.

IowaMan 02-20-2007 08:51 PM

IowaMan 02-22-2007 02:58 PM

I think I'm going to throw together some chicken and dumplings. Maybe a fresh spinach salad on the side. One thing's for sure, there will be no jello for dessert.

WildIrish 02-22-2007 03:33 PM

Pretty sure it's crab cakes w/hollandaise tonight.

IowaMan 02-23-2007 04:01 PM

I was going to make a meatloaf but I may be having second thoughts.

1nutworld 02-23-2007 04:22 PM

Hopefully my cousin is going to make it over and we are going to be able to head out to the Mason's Lodge for Fish dinner, but I will be having the clams.

mmmmmmm, mmmmmm, good!

OR he could decide not to come over tonight and I'm now working on dinner "plan B". Oh well

WildIrish 02-23-2007 04:44 PM

Baked chicken with mashed potatoes & sauteed zucchini. :slurp:

Lilith 02-23-2007 05:49 PM

Neige 02-23-2007 06:52 PM

This.

Except with garlic and mushrooms in it I think, and instead of orzo I have alphabet pasta.

IowaMan 02-24-2007 05:56 PM

A meatloaf sandwich (from the killer meatloaf I made last night) and some mac-n-cheese.

wyndhy 02-24-2007 06:08 PM
