Gonna do up some ham steaks tonight. Maybe with some rice and steamed green beans.

Ooooh! And cornbread! :slurp:

IowaMan 02-26-2007 06:23 PM

Pork chops w/mashed potatoes and corn.

wyndhy 02-26-2007 07:30 PM

i pulled the baked chicken off the bones and cooked it up in the leftover gravy, served it on toast. my dad calls any meat with sauce and served on toast shit on a shingle but this was wayyyyy better than that. :p

Lilith 02-26-2007 07:59 PM

SOS was always the dried beef with white gravy on toast at my house. I forgot about that :D

rabbit 02-26-2007 08:47 PM

shepherd's pie

Pita 02-26-2007 09:25 PM

Italian chicken and baked zucchini

IowaMan 02-28-2007 02:47 PM

I do believe it's going to be something that doesn't need to be cooked. Maybe a smoked turkey sandwich and some chips or something. Got a feeling I'm not going to have electricity by the time dinner rolls around. :yikes:

wyndhy 02-28-2007 03:10 PM

chicken noodle soup.:D

That's actually the route I was gonna take but by the time I got that thought in my head the power had gone out twice and I don't want to start making it and end up in not being able to finish it. :(

smithy020 02-28-2007 03:16 PM

i had stir fry and noodles and an apple...

osuche 02-28-2007 03:38 PM

For lunch I had a frozen pizza and an apple

Dinner...hoping to get some Vietnamese food on the way up to class

WildIrish 02-28-2007 03:49 PM

Kielbasa & sauerkraut :slurp:

The key is to rinse the sauerkraut first, ya know. :p

wyndhy 02-28-2007 03:56 PM

i wanted to make wontons but i don't have any oyster sauce...anyone care to weigh in on whether i absolutely must have it? or if i can just do the other seasonings and they'll taste just as good.

IowaMan 02-28-2007 04:00 PM

Hmmmm, I don't know wyndhy. That's a lot of flavor to go without. I'm sure it would probably still be good but I'm thinking it would be just enough off to drive me nuts. That's just my tastes though.

wyndhy 02-28-2007 04:03 PM

i'm thinkin the same thing.

i'll hit the grocers tomorrow.

WildIrish 02-28-2007 04:11 PM

So what's for dinner instead?

I've got plenty of kielbasa! And Mrs. WI and I are the only ones that will eat it! ha ha

It's a long drive though. I'll fix up the guest bed.

For BigBad & Mrs. WI. ;)

Don't forget to rinse him off with water first wyndhy. He may be too salty otherwise. :D

smithy020 02-28-2007 04:23 PM

[QUOTE=osuche]For lunch I had a frozen pizza and an apple

I'm sure it would have lasted a lot better cooked!

Hmmmm, IowaMan wonders if this could work similarly to the "Madame Lilith" thread. If I press my ass to the monitor, could Lil slide her credit card in my crack?

Oh and since the power is still on I decided to do the turkey sandwich a bit differently and grilled it. :D

1nutworld 03-01-2007 07:53 PM

A brand of frozen Lasagna that I've never tried before.

The Lasagna from Italia Gardens restaurant is what I REALLY want, but that will have to wait.

Pita 03-01-2007 08:35 PM

Apple, bacon, and blue cheese omelet.

My Sweeties favorite. :)

IowaMan 03-01-2007 08:45 PM

Damn, that does sound pretty good Tess. Do you whip in sour cream with the eggs?

wyndhy 03-01-2007 08:48 PM

yup, sounds good but i couldn't get that down the gullets of my husband or my kids even if i disguised as chocolate cake. :D

Neige 03-01-2007 11:24 PM

I had some pan-fried haddock - sooooooooooooooooooooooo good.

osuche 03-02-2007 12:05 AM

Chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and staemed broccoli

WildIrish 03-02-2007 11:33 AM

Neige 03-02-2007 06:05 PM
