Not likely

WYE kiss a stranger?

IowaMan 12-04-2006 05:26 PM

There would have to be some sort of special circumstance.

WYE eat at a restaurant that friends had told you wasn't up to health codes?

osuche 12-04-2006 11:42 PM

Likely not

Would you ever eat grasshoppers?

Coaster 12-05-2006 01:16 AM

only if starving

WYE go down on a lover in a park?

dicksbro 12-05-2006 05:07 AM

Done that, but only if there was enough privacy to assure we wouldn't be caught. :)

WYE go for a car ride in the nude?

IowaMan 12-05-2006 07:35 AM

Sure, why not. It would give the people something new to gossip about in my tiny town.

Would you ever chuck it all to go live on a remote island as if you were a castaway?

dicksbro 12-07-2006 04:01 AM

Some days it sounds good ... but, alas, no, I doubt I ever would.

WYE raise ostriches for a living?

IowaMan 12-07-2006 07:25 AM

That's one I've never considered. If my circumstances were different I would probably consider it but probably not.

Would you ever be a contestant on a game show?

dicksbro 12-08-2006 03:05 AM

Nah. The idea just doesn't appeal to me.

WYE hook your garden hose to a neighbors faucet while they were on vacation? :yikes:

IowaMan 12-08-2006 06:44 AM

LOL, can't say I've ever considered that one.

Would you ever "borrow" a tomato from your neighbor's garden without asking?

dicksbro 12-08-2006 07:45 PM

Nope. Wouldn't do that. They're too good and too generous to treat that way.

WYE loan your car to a friend to use to run and errand?

IowaMan 12-09-2006 01:08 AM

mmmmmmmm, depends on which friend. I'd probably make up some excuse to drive them myself. (Ain't that just awful?)

Would you ever lie to a cop to get out of a speeding ticket?

dicksbro 12-09-2006 03:37 AM

Actually, I've only had one (a warning ticket) and, no, I didn't lie to him. (Maybe why it was only a warning  )

osuche 12-10-2006 01:53 AM

I've flirted, but never lied

Would you ever get a tattoo?

IowaMan 12-10-2006 02:35 AM

I don't have any yet so probably not but I'd never rule it out.

Would you ever get "private parts" pierced?

dicksbro 12-10-2006 04:45 AM

Nope ... neither private nor public parts. Just not my thing.

WYE stand up for a friend even if you knew that it might have adverse affects on you?

IowaMan 12-10-2006 07:24 AM

Absolutely.

Would you ever allow someone to cut in front of you in a checkout line during the holiday season even though you knew you were already running late for an appointment?

osuche 12-10-2006 02:15 PM

Sure...if the need was right
\

Would you ever take a second job over the holidays?

dicksbro 12-12-2006 06:57 AM

I might, but I didn't this year.

WYE drive backroads only because you'd never driven on them before and wondered what was there?

IowaMan 12-12-2006 10:29 PM

Done so on many occasions. Never know what hidden gems you may find.

Would you ever make reservations at a hotel without knowing anything about it other than the city it was in and the price?

dicksbro 12-13-2006 07:27 AM

Well, yes and no. If it's a name I recognize ... like Sheraton or something ... I might, even though I really no nothing about that particular Sheraton. On the other hand, if it was not a name I recognized, I probably wouldn't unless I didn't have much choice ... like I had to be there but all the preferred locations were booked up. Good question.

If you noticed (after starting your car) that you didn't have your billfold/purse with your license, would you ever go ahead and drive somewhere without going back for it?

IowaMan 12-13-2006 07:43 AM

Probably not. Usually if I catch my mistake right off the bat I'll just ran back inside and grab the wallet. I have a tendency to never go to just my intended destination so I don't want to be caught without in case I need it.

Would you ever make "a polite offer" to pick up the dinner check even though you really didn't want to pay for it?

WildIrish 12-13-2006 09:22 AM

Yes. And if I felt like I was being taken advantage of...I'd learn from the experience and remember it the next time a meal with them was being considered.

Would you ever go in the out door just because you like the freedom to do so if you choose?

osuche 12-13-2006 10:57 AM

Yes...that and to annoy the person coming in. :D

WYE give money to one of the Salvation Army bell-ringers?

IowaMan 12-13-2006 11:23 AM

Yep, do it all the time. Well, whenever there is actually a ringer there. Seems as though anymore around here there are a lot of unattended kettles.

Would you ever stop to help someone change a flat tire?

dicksbro 12-13-2006 06:07 PM

Yep. Done that.

WYE climb a tree to free a kite that'd been snared?

IowaMan 12-14-2006 07:53 AM

I'd probably go find someone else to help. I'm not very fond of heights.

Would you ever enter a chili cookoff?

Fangtasia 12-23-2006 07:29 PM

My cooking could kill cats...let alone with chilli in it *LMAO*

dicksbro 12-24-2006 05:29 AM

Maybe something like a peck on the cheek under the right circumstances.

WYE spend the whole day in the nude?

GusAspar 12-26-2006 03:37 AM

In England? Global warming will have to progress some before I go for that.

Would you have a real-life love affair with someone you met on Pixies?

IowaMan 12-26-2006 08:00 AM

The best I can say is that I could not rule it out completely. If the right person came along and things got to that point I don't think I'd look at it any differently than if I met somebody anyplace else.

Would you ever go to a shopping mall on the day after Christmas?

Pita 12-26-2006 09:07 AM

I have done it and hated it.

Would you ever eat leftover stuffing for breakfast.

Seriously considering it.

IowaMan 12-26-2006 09:25 AM

OMG yes!!! Either cold or maybe even fry it up with a little butter. Done it on *a few* occasions.

Would you ever go out for a morning walk when it's about 20 degrees?

dicksbro 12-27-2006 05:18 AM

I have, but very, very seldom. I usually let it at least get into the 30s.

WYE make a naked snow angel with your body?

IowaMan 12-27-2006 07:33 AM

IowaMan 12-27-2006 05:55 PM

Would you ever take in a relative or friend's kids for a week so they could go on a much needed vacation?

dicksbro 12-27-2006 06:14 PM

We used to (when our kids were small) have a couple of neices spend part of their summers with our daughters and us and it was always fun. We'd take them to ball games, the zoo, and Peoria's great museum and civic center.

Of course, now they're older, married and so that doesn't happen any more.

Kind of miss those days.

WYE offer to help a friend who was maybe having a short-term financial problem?
