Head unless on a time budget. Nothing's as effective at starting relaxation as your temples free of pressure.

What's your favorite TV show?

Christmas really starts this evening. My wife and I will help at a Christmas Eve service at our church. We'll get all the presents out and put under the tree.

Normally, Christmas morning begins about 6:30 or 7:00 (it's gotten a little later since our kids are bigger ... used to be 4:00 or 4:30 :D). Our oldest daughter and her family should show up around 7:00, then we'll say a short prayer and open the gifts. After the gifts, we'll visit a bit while my wife and daughter finish up the breakfast preparation. Then breakfast. My daughter and her family will then probably leave to go to my son-in-law's parents to spend part of the day, and we'll just relax and enjoy time together.


What do you do?

I do, and it's overrated. I miss the snow and the bundling up and the hot cocoa and everything.

Ever peek under the wrapping of a gift under the tree? And did you get caught?

Yes, but most of the time I knew where the presents were hidden.

Where do you hide your Xmas presents?

In the closet underneath other boxes :)

What birthday was the toughest for you to face so far?

Probably my 40th ... although I didn't think so. But, my wife kept saying that it seemed to bother me. :rolleyes:

(So, wadda' I know ... after all, I'm only me ... and it's hard to see yourself without a mirror ... and, even if you have a mirror, everything's bas-ackwards. :D)

So, what's on the dinner menu for tomorrow?

I didn't do anything special, actually. I had to work and I'm a veg . . . I'll tell you that my family b-b-qed one turkey, baked another and had some of my grandfather's special meaty stuffing along with potatoes, cabbage, parsnips, turnips and carrots with salt meat.

Does your family get together for New Year's Day, too?

No, not usually. I like to spend New Years Day watching the parades.



Do you have one special dish that it wouldn't be Christmas if you didn't have it?

nope - usually just a quiet day though sometimes we do brunch

Not on your life!! I steer clear on days like this.



Going out on NYEve??

Perhaps. I'm working until 11:30 p.m. and there's some hippy music happening downtown on the 17th floor of some building with windows all around . . .. seems like a cool way to spend the wee hours of the morning.

I was working til 5...... went to visit my mum & dad, then took a gift to a friend...... met up with CA for an hour at the end of the day!!!! :( Take from that what you will!

No, luckily. I did leave my purse in a restaurant once but realized it when I got to the car and ran back in. PHEW!

My keys, glasses and glucometer, without fail.

We'll be at our daughter's in Peoria. Be about 15 +/-. Should be fun.
