IAKaraokeGirl 12-23-2003 09:16 PM

My mind.

What would others say is your best asset?

Sugarsprinkles 12-23-2003 09:56 PM

My loyalty and generosity.

How would you like to be remembered?

Euphemism 12-23-2003 10:05 PM

With a wake so expensive, so extravagant, and so full of debauchery, it will never fade from legend.

Massage oil - What scent, if any?

Sugarsprinkles 12-23-2003 10:10 PM

strawberry or vanilla (actually it could be Crisco, as long as I got the massage!)

Where would you start the massage? At the head or feet?

Euphemism 12-23-2003 10:23 PM

Head unless on a time budget. Nothing's as effective at starting relaxation as your temples free of pressure.

Evenings alone - indoors, outdoors, or indoors elsewhere?

musicman 12-23-2003 11:29 PM

all of the above - depends on the evening....

Describe your typical Xmas day

dicksbro 12-24-2003 08:21 AM

Christmas really starts this evening. My wife and I will help at a Christmas Eve service at our church. We'll get all the presents out and put under the tree.

Normally, Christmas morning begins about 6:30 or 7:00 (it's gotten a little later since our kids are bigger ... used to be 4:00 or 4:30 :D). Our oldest daughter and her family should show up around 7:00, then we'll say a short prayer and open the gifts. After the gifts, we'll visit a bit while my wife and daughter finish up the breakfast preparation. Then breakfast. My daughter and her family will then probably leave to go to my son-in-law's parents to spend part of the day, and we'll just relax and enjoy time together.

What do you do?

Sharni 12-24-2003 08:26 AM

We get woken up early (i mean sparrow fart early like  ) by excited kids who wanna show what santa brought them :D
Then when everyone is up (note i didnt say awake *LOL*)we unwrap the pressies under the tree
Then its on to eat...eat...eat...eat...sleep...eat...eat *LOL*...ya get the picture

Would you like to spend a Xmas in summer weather?

Euphemism 12-24-2003 10:50 AM

I do, and it's overrated. I miss the snow and the bundling up and the hot cocoa and everything.

Ever peek under the wrapping of a gift under the tree? And did you get caught?

CunningLinguist 12-24-2003 01:17 PM

Yes, but most of the time I knew where the presents were hidden.

Where do you hide your Xmas presents?

Steph 12-24-2003 01:38 PM

In the closet underneath other boxes :)

What birthday was the toughest for you to face so far?

dicksbro 12-24-2003 02:17 PM

Probably my 40th ... although I didn't think so. But, my wife kept saying that it seemed to bother me.

(So, wadda' I know ... after all, I'm only me ... and it's hard to see yourself without a mirror ... and, even if you have a mirror, everything's bas-ackwards. :D)

So, what's on the dinner menu for tomorrow?

Steph 12-26-2003 01:26 PM

I didn't do anything special, actually. I had to work and I'm a veg . . . I'll tell you that my family b-b-qed one turkey, baked another and had some of my grandfather's special meaty stuffing along with potatoes, cabbage, parsnips, turnips and carrots with salt meat.

Does your family get together for New Year's Day, too?

Sugarsprinkles 12-26-2003 01:27 PM

No, not usually. I like to spend New Years Day watching the parades.

Do you have one special dish that it wouldn't be Christmas if you didn't have it?

musicman 12-26-2003 01:27 PM

Going out on NYEve??

Steph 12-26-2003 02:37 PM

Perhaps. I'm working until 11:30 p.m. and there's some hippy music happening downtown on the 17th floor of some building with windows all around . . .. seems like a cool way to spend the wee hours of the morning.
