bbq chicken on the grill and steamed green beans

WildIrish 03-15-2007 08:32 AM

No. 1 son has a band concert this evening, so I have a feeling we'll be dining on Subway grinders.

IowaMan 03-15-2007 05:59 PM

Seems as though I've been on a turkey kick here lately. I've got a marinated turkey breast tenderloin in the rotisserie right now and will have some mashed potatoes and baked corn/cornbread dish with it.

Ok, I'm having hamburger helper because I'm alone and I don't feel like cooking.

Of course. Your wish is my command. But first you have to come back to visit!

I dunno what we're having...going to a family friend's house so Indian food is a safe bet. I bought some sweets to take with us.

Pita 03-17-2007 06:07 PM

There are boneless pork chops and zucchini with fresh herbs roasting away as I type this.

Neige 03-17-2007 07:24 PM

I had garlic fingers.

musicman 03-17-2007 08:36 PM

PantyFanatic 03-17-2007 11:47 PM

Now what would ya be thinkin was served today? :rolleyes2

When I left me daughters home, 64 pounds of corned beef from the 78 pounds bought, had been pilfered (with strong suspicions of it being smuggled out behind navels  ) and was not to be found. I don't know what they are going to feed to the guests.

:irish:

IowaMan 03-18-2007 05:07 PM

I REALLY want to go to PF's daughter's place for one of these family parties sometime.

I'm having chicken cacciatore, sort of. My sort of thrown together version of it anyway. We'll see how it turns out.

Porter house Steaks with Baked potatoes and a salad

IowaMan 03-20-2007 05:27 PM

Well, I don't know that you can call what I did "dinner" but I did eat. Frankly I've had some pretty shitty days lately so I just decided to take whatever craving I could and just overindulge the hell out of it. I've been craving chocolate for a couple of days and today I went hog wild:

1 qt. chocolate milk
about half a box of Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls
6 Hostess Cupcakes
3 Three Musketeers bars

........ and I've got a pan of fudge brownies that is just about ready to come out of the oven. Toss a couple of scoops of mint choc. chip ice cream on those bad boys and my blood sugar should be so damn impressive for my doctor tomorrow that he brands me the biggest idiot he's ever seen. And I don't really care. :D

dicksbro 03-20-2007 06:03 PM

I think my wife's making chili. Sounds good. Hadn't really thought about it, but, I love chili. :boink:

Scarecrow 03-20-2007 06:09 PM

Hey DB what time is dinner, I can get there in about a hour and a half. :rolleyes2

Neige 03-20-2007 09:36 PM

I had a club sandwich!

sodaklostsoul 03-20-2007 10:08 PM

OMG....Boog's steak was the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cripes IowaMan, you've ate more chocolate then prolly most of us gals in the Hut! :D

musicman 03-20-2007 10:10 PM

low fat chicken strips and ceasar salad

IowaMan 03-20-2007 10:10 PM

Yeah, I've been a bit moody lately and you know what? I'll be damned if it didn't help. :p

And I ate about half the pan of fudge brownies too. :yikes:

Neige 03-21-2007 08:37 PM

I made a prosciutto, goat cheese and spicy pizza sauce calzone.

dicksbro 03-21-2007 08:48 PM

Went out with two other couples this evening and had some delicious fried chicken with potato salad and cole slaw. Very good. Even enough left for lunch tomorrow.

IowaMan 03-22-2007 06:36 AM

It's probably about 10 hours away but I do know what I'm having. I'm giving WI's "yogurt" pork roast a try. I'll quarter up a couple of large baking potatoes put on a bit of garlic powder and parmesan, drizzle them with E.V.O.O. and let 'em roast for a bit until I've got some nice wedgies. :slurp:

Maybe a fresh spinach salad and I should be set.

WildIrish 03-22-2007 07:09 AM

I'd love to have some of my leftover pork roast, but there's not enough. lmao

IowaMan 03-22-2007 05:04 PM

Decided I'd make some cornbread and a fresh spinach salad to go with the pork roast and the roasted potatoes. Mmmmmmmm, does it ever smell great in my house right now. :slurp:

Lilith 03-22-2007 05:30 PM

grilled chicken breasts, boiled new potatoes and carrots, and a GINORMOUS salad
