$3.27/ga seemed to be the asking price around town this weekend.

$3.29 around here

We're still at $3.31 here. I was surprised when we filled the car with gasoline on Sunday before we returned home that we got gas for $3.29 at a small town called Minooka near Plainfield. Usually, they're higher than around here.

Two local stations jumped to $3.49, but, the others didn't budge. By late yesterday afternoon, some were down to $3.29. :)

Back to $1.44/ga. and steady floating upstream :(

We just got bumped up to $3.39 yesterday and most stations seem to have joined in. :(

I filled up Friday and it cost me AU$1.54/litre

3.08 for low octane. I hit the premium to try and clean out the fuel system a bit for 3.279 per gallon.

$3.39 yesterday locally. We got gas after the movie in Pekin (about 10 miles from here) and it wass $3.38 there.

Could you send some of that $3.03 gasoline up here LS ... we're still at $2.25 and while that's better than it had been, I won't object if it goes lower. :)

Yes,There have been several lawsuits for ethanol ruining alum. engines due to the higher heat.So about half the stations went back to real gas.

I know it's wreaking havoc on my 1976 ranchero. Not much I can do about it right now though. I tend to have better results when I buy from BP or Shell though. Those stations also tend to be a bit higher priced.

I bought diesel today

$3.18 in E. Peoria (about 7 miles from here). Still, $3.23 here. :(

$3.11 a gal last I notice usually still half a sleep when I buy it

I suspect the price of gas also includes the increased demand from the growing prosperity in China and India.

$3.17 in E. Peoria (about 10 miles from here), but, $3.36 here. :(

We're down to $3.35, but, the nearby communities are still lower. :(
