I catered for my fave old peeps today and they had missed my cooking for them.

I worked out on the heavy bag and walked, trying to get strong and healthy.

My day seems to be ending much better than the way it began. I think the hot bath, red wine, and Sinatra are working.

I went and had my girl friend cut my hair
I dyed my hair red
I didn't do one bit of housework

1. I was humbled by you all today.....sometimes I get so caught up in my own little world and forget that I am surrounded by such remarkable people.

2. A friend I made a B-school just got a job offer in Columbus and I'm making plans to help him with his househunting.

3. Tomorrow is another day, and I am going to try and make the best of it. ;)

1. All the meals I've cooked this weekend have been accepted by the six other people here...shocking in itself. :D

2. I've made progress on the basement and cleaning things out...giving some things away, keeping others...and getting ready to start selling the rest on ebay.

3. I made my son's day when I found his Game Boy in a box I unpacked--the look on his face was pure delight. :)

1) I have a trojan horse on my PC that is hammering me with pop-ups and unwanted downloads....and I cannot seem to find a way to make it stop. UGH!

2) Finally raked up all of my leaves.

3) Took my little boy (5) to get a haircut...handsome little man! :)

3. I got a lot done this weekend...and many things cleaned out...and ended up giving a girl I used to work with until September several brand-new baby things I'd bought two years ago when I discovered that I was pregnant with the baby I later miscarried.

1. I am so burned out I'm not sure I have anything else to give. Sooooo tired!

2. I had a 5:30 am flight and have been tired all day

3. I can't wait for Thanksgiving - I am having it at my house this year. :slurp: Now all I have to do is dream up a recipe for Indian-flavored turkey that my inlaws will eat. ;)

I slept in after staying up late talking to my parents.

Washed laundry, dishes, and generally put the house back in order.

1) I taught Kindergarten today pretty much on my own AND I survived.

2) I am finally recovering from the worst stomach flu ever, and have the sniffles.

3) This morning when I stood in front of the mirror it screamed one word........teacher.

2. Girlfriend whose husband had testicular cancer, had the sperm frozen and had artificial insemination a few weeks ago told me she is pregnant. Wonderful news!

1) My wife woke me up at 1:03am because she was horny as hell and wanted some lovin'. At 1:09am, we were pounding away doggie style. Talk about a great start to the day! :hump:

2) Ate a blueberry Pop Tart for breakfast...first one I've had in a bazillion years. Not bad... :slurp:

3) Had to exchange a belt I bought yesterday...it was too big. You'd think I would have tried it on before I bought it but noooooo........ :rolleyes:

No deal! The laundry works unseen in the middle of the night and does all the laundry, so that when we awaken...it's all clean, dried and put away.

1. I returned to the dentist today and came back with an un-fun plastic thing I have to wear at night to help out my jaw problem.

2. I woke up with his head between my legs...that's sooo much better than hearing the alarm clock... ;)

3. I splurged and bought myself a cute denim jacket today after going out to lunch with my best friend.

1) Lost my temper in a meeting today...and glad I did.

2) Actually had a chance to work out today for the first time in a month.

3) Tomorrow is Friday, my last day of work for the next two weeks!

2) Spent most of the day on the road - but is was sunny and warm so it was very enjoyable

3) I don't have to work tomorrow - at least not in the office.

1) It's been a really wonderful but very long week. Today is my last day teaching Kindergarten, ever (although I love them I really won't be teaching them with the degrees I am getting). I plan to make the most of it! We will cook and paint and practice being kind to one another all day!

2) I am waiting on some test results for my mom and the Dr. is supposed to call today. It's hard to be so far away from her when I am afraid she might need me.

3) This sweet, neglected little girl at school has restored my faith in me and why I am spending so much time and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to enter a profession that is as maligned, disrespected, and poorly supported, not to mention under compensated, as is teaching. She's why........and as for the rest, well none of those things really matter.
