WeetBix. Sorry, it's breakfast time in Oz.

Last night I just made panfried lamb sirloin cut into thin strips, almost scallops, eight ounces of cream and a scant teaspoon of french mustard as a rendered sauce.

Left in the pan for a few minutes with the sauce and served with breadrolls to mop up the excess.

Neige 04-05-2007 07:30 PM

I had my mom's lasagna.

Winston77 04-05-2007 08:19 PM

Ice cream

IowaMan 04-06-2007 12:52 PM

Not completely sure but I'm thinking that whatever it is will have to be sitting on the plate next to some mashed potatoes.

osuche 04-06-2007 10:33 PM

I made chicken marsala with 3 different types of mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and garlic lime sauteed spinach.

Served it with fresh foccacia and peso and balsamic vinegar infused olive oil

:slurp:

ReaperWoman 04-07-2007 07:28 AM

Some sort of fish-thing... Ask me later.

IowaMan 04-07-2007 04:37 PM

I believe I'll throw together some homemade mac-n-cheese and maybe a turkey burger.

Lilith 04-07-2007 04:39 PM

burger (moo & veggie ones), fresh fruit salad, grilled yellow squash and broiled home fries

jseal 04-07-2007 05:16 PM

Chicken Dijon, mac'n cheese, & broccoli

Pita 04-07-2007 06:14 PM

Chai tea and Dove chocolate

osuche 04-08-2007 01:28 AM

We had CPK - carne asada pizza and a chinese chicken salad

ReaperWoman 04-08-2007 12:48 PM

A really random assortment of veg stirfried in sweet chilli sauce that's far too hot for me, so I've added tomato ketchup to milden it. Although I've added so much ketchup it tastes like I've stirfried it in spicy ketchup. Also the most unhealthy sprouts you've ever tasted. Fried in lots of butter... Mmmm....

osuche 04-08-2007 03:06 PM

I fixed catfish sandwiches, mac n cheese, and spinach salad for lunch

Irezumi Kiss 04-08-2007 07:25 PM

Chicken chow mein.

Coaster 04-08-2007 07:38 PM

homemade pizza

IowaMan 04-08-2007 07:48 PM

Hopefully your experience is a better one that what I had with one I made yesterday Coaster. Piping hot toppings that slide off the crust and into your lap aren't a heck of a lot of fun. It was definitely hot........... just not in a good way. :yikes:

Not sure what I'll make. Ate an awful lot at lunch today, may just skip dinner.

IowaMan 04-10-2007 09:02 PM

I roasted a chicken in the rotisserie and made some cheesy potatoes and a spinach salad.

osuche 04-10-2007 11:36 PM

We had salads at a local restaurant

Neige 04-10-2007 11:48 PM

I had fried calamari and a caesar salad at a pub with friends.

GreenChef 04-11-2007 12:20 AM

We had an arugula salad with some sauteed shrimp.
oh and a nice squash & cauliflower soup
ice cream for dessert...

dicksbro 04-11-2007 12:42 AM

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy and whole kernel corn with a dish ice cream for dessert.

Oldfart 04-11-2007 03:08 AM

Steak and baked potato.

Lilith 04-11-2007 04:13 AM

That's what we had too!

IowaMan 04-11-2007 04:24 AM

Details, I want details! Did you have butter & sour cream, maybe some cheddar & bacon bits on the spud? :slurp:

Lilith 04-11-2007 04:33 AM

ha ha, I wish. Plain with salt.

IowaMan 04-11-2007 04:39 PM

I just fixed up a plate of leftover chicken and had some corn on the side.

dicksbro 04-11-2007 04:40 PM

My wife is making a roast (yummy), but I'm not sure what else.

IowaMan 04-12-2007 04:29 PM

Thinking about making some honey dijon chicken but I may end up just snacking. Not really feeling up to cooking right now.

IowaMan 04-16-2007 04:52 PM

I made a big pot of ham & bean soup on Sunday that should be very, very tasty now that it's had a day to sit in the fridge. :slurp:

IowaMan 04-18-2007 01:15 PM

I do believe I killed this thread dead as a doornail! :faint:

I may just keep it really simple for dinner tonight. I'm thinking ham & cheese sandwiches or something of the sort.

ReaperWoman 04-18-2007 02:06 PM

I breaded and fried some haddock and served it with baby boiled potatoes and some buttery sweetcorn. Mmmmmmm...

I did pick a pretty good time to have them rip all the windows out of my house. :D

PantyFanatic 04-18-2007 02:40 PM

I was looking for this thread but it had a green fog around it for a couple days. :eew:

Tonight is going to be a surprise.:) I'll stuff $$ in one window and they stuff something in my fist at the other window. :bite:

dicksbro 04-18-2007 06:24 PM

Pork loins with sweet potatoes and some form of veggies.

IowaMan 04-22-2007 08:02 PM

As sort of a tribute to Lizz, I went and got a pizza at what she told me is her favorite chain back here, Happy Joe's. Got a large canadian bacon & pineapple. Must've been pretty hungry because I only have 3 pieces left for breakfast. :D

cherrypie7788 04-23-2007 12:51 AM

I had a hamburger patty with all the seasonings I like on it and some mashed potatoes. I've been craving meat.
