Was born and raised in Rockford, Ill., went to school in Carbondale, and have lived in Chicago, too. Spent most of my adult life in Wisconsin (and I miss it) and am now in Missouri. I hope to be heading out of here soon.

Grew up on the east coast, in Connecticut... and spent several years in St Louis...and now in Michigan, just outside Detroit

Hey, robguy ... welcome to Pixies. I think Michigan is the only state where I've seen these massive 40+/- wheel trucks with umpteen axles. Honeymooned at Silver Lake on the Lake Michigan coast near Mears and vacationed a lot from Battle Creek to Mackinaw ... great place.

Trankin ... just re-reading the posts and realized you were from Omaha. That's where I was born. Left as a baby (parents told me to get a job to help pay for the bottles of milk I was guzzling) but still proud to be from there. :D

(Just teasing about the milk thing. :D)

I was born in OKC in late '75 and family lived in Edmond until early '78, at which point we moved north of Wichita (then Topeka later that year, until '82)....

Hey dreamgurl, I like that tag line. Can I wish for someone to take me to a hotel room for a 3 day weekend and have our merry way with each other? :p

Well, when you get tired of life in the fast lane you're welcome back in Oklahoma my friend.:)

Fast lane my @$$. I just saw a news story saying that the Fayetteville area is one of the best for job growth right now. Might see if my aunt and uncle (who live just east of town) will put me up for a while so I can find something. :p
